The staff was very nice. The room was large, well-decorated, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was ok. And the price was reasonable. I would definitely go back there if I visit Glasgow again.

This is a beautiful Glasgow terraced house converted into a small hotel. It was clean, tidy and welcoming and the staff were friendly and efficient. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was well furnished and decorated as was the en suite shower room. The hotel was also quiet and restful.

Hotel offered a comfort and relaxing stay. Room was a very good size and free from traffic noise. Hotel was in an excellent location for exploring Glasgow's west end. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Bathroom lacked a a proper shower and is in need of upgrading. First night was spoiled by other very noisy clients but I appreciate that this was outwith the control of staff.

Good location for the West End. Loved the period originality - sensitively retained with the necessities to make a hotel being minimally invasive, and lovely decor totally in keeping with such a period house. If, as a tourist, you want the experience of staying within a Glasgow Victorian townhouse (without having to pay the prices of One Devonshire Gardens!), then this is the one for you. The decor is clearly not brand-new; indeed in places it might even be called a little shabby, but strangely I felt this actually added a bit to its charm. It made it more human, less "slick" and again, contributed to the feeling of being within a genuine Victorian house where, I'm sure, the decor was not renewed each year (or even each decade). We also had a massive room with two double-beds - a definite first - & en-suite, all for £70! However a few wee details let it down: bedside lamp bulb bust; handheld shower in bath w/ no upper wall-clip which essentially made showering impossible &/or very messy; non-Heinz cheap ketchup; no veggie breakfast option; no nets on an extremely overlooked window. With attention to these kinds of details, this hotel could go from being "pretty good" to "very good indeed".

The style of our room and the breakfast room which was also used as a bar at other times. A small but very friendly hotel.

It is very conveniently situated for the restaurants and bars of the West End of Glasgow and for many of the University departments and is very good value for money. Breakfast is cooked to order and not left out on a buffet. No lift

A fine old terraced house made into a hotel. Retains many original architectural features not ruined to cram in more accommodation. Lots of local facilities and city center is 4 stops on the metro of about £8 by taxi. Plenty of interest within walking distance.

Location is good for walking into the West End. Appears this hotel is letting itself slip, frozen/tinned fruit salad at breakfast and orange juice from a box, not good.Smell of cooking bacon circulates the whole hotel in the morning. Sorry but dont think we will go back, disapponiting as we stayed before and it was good.

The breakfast was exceptionally good lots of fresh fruit, a good range of cereals not just the usual cornflakes and muesli, the cooked breakfast used very fresh ingredients. The eggs had beautidul orange yolks and were cooked to perfection. As a single traveller my room was in the basement looking out under the steps which was not very nice but it did muffle the traffic on the main road outside so made for a better sleep.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was pleasantly decorated. The breakfast room was tastefully decorated and the staff were attentive and obliging. There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and the food was very good. The bathroom was nearly ready to be refurbished ,however, we have stayed in another room at the hotel and that bathroom was much better.

The room was fantastic. We had a wonderfull view of the bay. The staff at the front desk was not very helpfull with parking questions and options. It worked out fine in that we had a spot just outside of the front door and did not get a ticket. We arrived about 4:00pm and the parking meters were covered and we could not pay for parking until 6:00pm.
