Dating back to the 16th century, Tudor House Hotel is on the edge of historic Tewkesbury, overlooking the Avon River. The magnificent building has a real ale bar and traditional restaurant.

This charming town house with free Wi-Fi and free parking overlook a quiet, tree-lined square, a short walk from the center of town. Service is friendly, personal and professional.

Everything that was offered was good
We were in room no 1 and found the road noise kept us awake for most of the night
Staff friendly. Quiet. Clean. Old fashioned.
Menu basic Pub. Bathroom area needs repairing. 4ft. 6inch bed not big enough for 2 adults.
The staff very friendly & helpful plus lunch & breakfast menu was excellent.
grumpy staff, the shower had mould and floorboards loose, had trouble finding staff
Location by cathedral
Cold room, freezing bathroom, showerhead at knee hight, rockhard pillow, uncomfy mattress, strangely positioned tv, no veggy breakfast
Location, food, staff, service, vibe.
Bathroom layout was a joke, shower head mounted 2 1/2 feet high pointing at windowsill. Who is this designed for? Window boxes? In a large room that could be laid out sensibly (!) Accommodation areas generally tired but clean. Beds TOO SMALL. Hotel parking was full ("no need to book") so parked in "private" space near next house. All this could easily be improved.
Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast, good selection of cereals and fresh fruit and full English.
We arrived on a Sunday and asked about the Sunday Roasts only to be told that they had run out, when we read the menu we could have ordered 2 for £9.99. Paint work a bit tired in the rooms and bathroom.
The location. Food. Comfort. of the. bar. area
The. bedroom very dark. the. lighting was very poor The curtains was hanging of the curtain rail
The place had good character and the bar staff at night time were very polite and helpful - unlike the morning staff.
staff had no interest at breakfast time, were not about to see if breakfast was alright or not, which by the way was not alright. Very poor service. Found someone eventually but too late to do anythink about our problem, was also told she could do nothink about it herself and the manager was not in until monday! But the manager would telephone us one monday morning, which never happened.
Staff were very polite and helpful during our 3 night stay
We had no hot water on Sunday evening as the water heater tripped out, but this was soon delt with by the manager
We liked the way we were able to get about as the position of the hotel is situated so that we were able to visit many more locations as well. The hotel is very easy to find.
Room size and comfort was really good .breakfast service was really excellent, choice was above expectations.
There was a tapping throughout the night presumably from heating system, for a heavy sleeper no problem but for a light sleeper would be irritating
Loved the location , the bar area was friendly and relaxing , comfortable chairs and clean .
Our room was on the ground floor facing the car park . We had workmen arriving at 04.45 in two vans . Also noisy pipes all night .
We were visiting the Abbey so location could not have been better, plus there was parking
The state of the decor and bedroom furniture was rather tired, with uneven creaky floors, however the building is old. Pasta on evening meal menu but not available, porridge on breakfast menu but also not available
Had everything I needed. Located in the main town area. Easy to park in their own car park. Variety of breakfast was good with mainly self service. Free wifi easily accessed. Rooms serviced every day. Easy access to the Abbey.
My twin room was located in what I would call an attached "annexe" easiest accessed outside the hotel via the car park. Did not feel like an hotel. Could do with more space around beds and more drawers etc. for clothing.
EXCELLENT SERVICE BY ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF==== QUALITY OF MEALS==== CLEANLINESS OF HOTEL==== FREE PARKING====
ROAD TRAFFIC NOISE IN BEDROOMS
some staff were ok the room was sufficient.. but!
some staff , particularly breakfast staff were unhelpful and rude the room was next to the beer garden and was noisy till late.no secondary glazing
The room was very comfortable so was the bed's ..... Breakfast really set you up for the day ahead .... Staff were so friendly and helpful ... I would recommend The Bell to any over 60's
Only one thing let the room down ... the bathroom could of been cleaner .... But in saying this it did not spoil the stay
Unfortunately I chose salmon (I only sampled a small piece) the waitress said they were due to take it off the menu due to other complaints. Due to excessive sickness during the night I was unable to sample the breakfast!
Right in town good carpark nice breakfast
Bathroom needed updating and a lick of paint
Excellent position in an interesting town. We had a great view,a nice clean room and a very good breakfast.
Whats not to like.
Breakfast , hospitality, staff location.
Noisy extractor outside our room, did go off about 10pm
The room to old fashioned all needs updating to give value for money.
