Helpfulness of staff Bath + shower in decent bathroom
Car Park full, but I did arrive late and the staff authorised a suitable place to park although this was not a marked space.
The staff were helpful and friendly The room was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfy The breakfast had healthy option of fresh fruit and porridge - It was in a central location
All staff very helpful and friendly.Room lovely and warm, crisp white bedding and hot shower.Bed really comfortable.
Nothing.I had no problems.
Nice quirky pub, with wonderful food overlooking the abbey. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend despite the heating problems.
Problem with heating system in room meant that there was sounds of water running in and out of the radiator. Room was very hot and thermostat didn't work. All in all the rooms could do with a bit of TLC
Friendly helpful staff,good food.
Not enough designated parking spaces.
Staff and the willingness to provide what we wanted. Good value food and plenty of it.
Comfy bed Friendly staff Good breakfasts
Creaky floorboards Room outside kitchen Noise from extractor fan
basic room - missing veneer on furniture
The room was comfortable clean and the bed was good giving us a great nights sleep. The room was away from the main part of the inn which meant we had a quiet room too on the ground floor. We would be very happy to stay again and look forward to being there again.
The car park appeared to be pay and display although we didn't realise until we saw a traffic warden the next morning. Luckily we also had a disabled badge so didn't get a ticket. Next time we'd ask the hotel waht we should do about parking.
Friendly pub-type hotel. Comfortable, if basic room. Nice breakfast.
A little short staffed at times. Basic facilities. 'Cloud' wifi, so not really free - have to take open a Cloud account, which is a pain.
The bar and lounge area were very good. The reception staff were very good and welcoming.the The location was excellent next to Abbey well worth a visit lovely town
the bedrooms do not rate this a 4 star a 3 at best. Comfortable but broken furniture wardrobes not closing, bathroom very small with shower and scalding hot radiator dangerous. Window frames dirty inside.
Staff very friendly. Special night 2 meals £9.99. Great choice of menu. Good food. Good position, free parking.
Creaking floor boards from room above. In ground floor room
Staff really friendly. Great food. Close to Abbey and other attractions.
The location of the hotel is excellent for the town opposite the Abbey and near the Mill
The room (in the new part of the hotel not in the nice Tudor building)was already tired looking. The quality of the food in the restaurant was not very pleasing. A good breakfast as usual however.
Food was excellent, can't failt the hotel at all. Good selection on ales, drinks, breakfast was awesome and rooms clean and comfortable. Also a cracking location in the heart of Tewkesbury opposite the beautiful Abbey.
Easy parking, staff very friendly and welcoming. A good stay.
Easily reached by local transport, a convenient location, excellent choice of breakfast options and reasonable evening meals, with attentive staff.
No real issues, a noisy A/c unit may disturb you -- depending on the location of your room.
parking was easy and free. Room was pleasant and warm. Bed was comfortable. There were some extra electric wall sockets! Bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive.
Just 'nit-picking' really - bathroom could do with a coat of paint.
Had a function to attend in Tewkesbury, location perfect, food really good, staff helpful and courteous.
Nice clean and comfortable room.
Heating was too high and even with the window open had difficulty sleeping because it was too hot.
Room 14 stay away.tap tap noise all nite.room in need of updating.room 10 needs new bathroom window.
excellent shower and a lovely cooked breakfast.
the bed itself was very comfortable but the pillows were too hard for me.
Staff were tentative and friendly
Very friendly staff, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location.
The shower hose was damaged and the shower head would not stay raised high enough for me to stand underneath it. Having inspected it, I suspect that it had been in this condition for some time, therefore I would recommend that staff check the shower condition/functionality as part of the daily room cleaning routine.
The location is good , staff are polite , food good .
My wife and I were accommodated in the annexe . The Walls between are very thin and you can here all sounds especially door banging . And if we could here them then they could here us
