Value for money

The size of the room information stated in the website was wrong. I choose this hotel was due to the size of the room (mainly), location and value of money. However, I found that the size is far smaller than what they advertised. I have complaint to the hotel, and the booking.com, however, very disappointing, no action has been taken. Fed up
Location near Victoria was great. Room was very nice. Staff were friendly and efficient
No luggage hold. It's says they have one but my bag sat by their reception desk all day. It should of been in a locked room.
Location was excellent! You can get everywhere from Victoria station. Staff was helpfull, we arrived early, but they finished the room very quick and let us in. Everything you need is present, clean and nice. We liked it, although at first we had our doubts because the entrance is trough the nail saion :) Nevertheless, it was good, spacious and we slept very good!
There was some leakage at the bedroom. Nothing else!
Hotels in the area are over priced and under equipped. This is a good alternative
There were two lights that were flickering very badly, one over the dining table/desk and one in the bedroom. I stayed for 3 days and although I was promised that the light would be fixed, it wasn't. Made working at the table a bit difficult. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was almost non-existant! Shaving by feel only....
close to Victoria station
The fact that there was nobody at the reception was frustrating and even that we only had one key to share
The rooms (we had 2 plus a living room/kitchenette) were very stylish, modern and spotless - and in a great Westminster location a few blocks from Victoria Station.
The fact that you check in and enter through a small desk just off a nail salon is very off putting at first! Also - they wanted payment before we could even set our bags down - and said they didn't take AmEx - although that was used for the initial reservation. After some discussion - they did....
The style of the room.
Wi-fi connection didn't work properly.
kitchen facilities, comfortable bed
wifi occasionally very slow or not even accessible. Very annoying as one of the reasons i booked here. Lack of electrical sockets and bedside lamp didn't work.
Not a lot but it was clean
Travelling as one adult and two children, we were supplied with a double bed and an ironing board as sleeping arrangements pretty rubbish for the price!!!
They were helpful and let us have the room early as we arrived on an early flight. They carried our bags up the stairs.
No plugs worked in our room. There was a strong smell of sewage.
The appartment was spacious very clean and had everything you need. You could easily stay for a while and make yourself at home.
This is not a hotel its an appartment. The person next door was noisy making it hard to sleep.
Clean enough, good location, shame the rest of the 'hotel' was falsely advertised
Hotel nothing like the description. It is a nail salon with some small rooms above. Descriptions like 'hotel', 'boutique' and the self-awarded 4 stars are complete nonsense - this is false advertising. Very medical looking entrance corridor shared with the salon, and a medical smell throughout. During the day lots of noise from salon and staff below echoed up into room. Also they hadn't processed my online booking by the time I arrived - so the receptionist got on her smart phone to chat with the boss and evidently decided to just book me in anyway (but only after I showed her my confirmation email including nightly rate). My partner was very disappointed with choice. Could have had a real hotel for very similar money. Will not go again. Avoid.
When I got there I was a bit baffled by the fact that there was no sign of a hotel, only of a nail saloon. But the hotel is in fact on the back of the nail saloon, and is simply great. For 85 pounds I got a complete flat with big bedroom, living room, kitchen and big bath with bathtub, all very clean and equipped with enormous flat tv. Staff was sometimes absent, but overall kind and helpful.
As in all victorian houses stairs are very steep and can be problematic with heavy luggage.
Close location, particularly useful for the theatre. Bed was comfortable
A few essentials were missing, hand towel, tea towel. Some areas of the room were a bit scruffy and would benefit from updating / repainting.
got everything you need in room was clean
no one on desk on arrival had to go to salon no one on desk when leaving just note saying when leaving just leave keys on desk with weather being very hot no air con or fans in rooms if window open the noise from the road very load all night had no sleep which made the following busy day very hard to enjoy as tired
Helpful staff (I accidentally locked myself out of the room). Good standard of equipment in the apartment Central location. Good value in comparison to hotels in the area - can get an apartment for the same price as a hotel room.
Shower ran out of hot water!
Weird graffiti in bathroom.
It's very trendy in decor and was very clean with large kitchen, lounge area.
It was very hard to find...no signage for accomodation part of the business. Shower had fallen off the wall socket ( broken) which made having a shower extremely difficult as you had to hold it. Couch in lounge really hard and no air conditioning even though it was advertised as having it.
Unwelcoming reception. First questions was if I could pay by cash. When I said I didn´t have that amount of cash, I was literally pushed out of the place and shown the ATM. The receptionist was then irritated when I asked for a receipt.. The room itself was ok, but quite worn. I saw shoeprints on both beds and the bathroom stunk og moisture. Stay away from this place, unless you MUST have two bedrooms and HAVE to live near the Victoria Station.
really clean, staff were friendly.grat location. would stay again.
The Belle Cour apartment we had was very clean and comfortable with all the mod cons, the bed was very comfortable and staff were very friendly. The location of the Belle Cour is only minutes away from all the main attractions that London provides, the Taxis service we used to provide transport to the Palace Garden party were amazing, they drove us and collected us in Style at very affordable prices, I would recommend the Belle Cour for a self catering stay,
No bottle opener.
Free wi fi
No staff on reception when needed and no invoice received as yet, although promised by e-mail, so unable to claim back on company expenses until resolved.
a lot of space in the apartment, nice kitchen for your own breakfast
narrow stairs, big suitcases are a problem
This hotel room sleeps three (with an additional bed) and is more like a two-room apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine - someone could live here for a couple of days/weeks arriving to London. The location is also very central and many pubs, restaurants and take-aways around!!
"Belle cour" - as we understood it - stands in the first place for a beauty sallon located on the ground floor. Staffing for the hotel is scarce (although the Spanisg lady who greeted us was very nice!) and there is no breakfast provided (obviously, because you can prepare everything for yourself in the kitchen!). Price quite high - we paid 276€ for 3 - for people just staying for one night and using it as a "hotel"!
