The staff were extremely friendly and I felt right at home from the moment I walked through the front door. The rooms in which I stayed over the course of several visits were all of high standards and very comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Belle Vue to anyone.

Very clean. Comfortable bed, small but serviceable bathroom with a nice hot shower. Bobbi was very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were plentiful. I had informed the hotel that I would be arriving early on the day of arrival to drop of my case and continue to a event I was attending. There was no one at the hotel to answer the bell and let me in. I had to take the case with me to the event. There was a problem with the tv in the room I was initially assigned to so I was moved to another (it turned out that I could only get bbc1 and 2 from that tv however). The room faced the main road and the trafffic was quite noisy.

Bottled water in the room was much appreciated. Plenty of free parking. Bedding and towels were spotlessly clean. 15 minute walk to Reading railway station - ideal for day trip to London. Although I have put "Rate" as reason for choosing this hotel, the reviews regarding the cleanliness were a major factor in my decision. Was more "guest house" rather than hotel with breakfast eaten in the Reception area. My shower didn't work very well.

Clean hotel. Good location, only 10 mins walk into town centre. You need to take a pinch of salt with the lady owner. Sometimes condescending and told you information you didn't need to know. Trivial gossip. My friends had the same comments. Didn't offer any cooked breakfast, of course it is "continental". Otherwise had a good stay.

The Landlady makes you feel very welcome and is a very warm person. She will do all she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's location is excellent for getting into Reading (10mins walk) and enjoyed the light and airy breakfast room.

Situation géographique parking gratuit a dispo connection internet la remise de 15 livres compensant l absence de petit dejeuner anglais la mise a dispo d une deuxième chambre pour les enfants au vu de la faible (absence..) d affluence dans l hôtel La robinneterie est à revoir absence de petit déjeuner anglais la notation 4 etoiles me semblent surévaluée et le prix excessif au vu des prestations fournies
