Charming, quirky Hotel on a very lovely little town. Helpful staff. Food! Evening meal was overpriced and poor quality . Breakfast even worse Food kept warm in large pots.very unappetising If this Hotel is offering cooked breakfast then please cook it freshly. There are not so many guests that this would be a problem. Heated towel rail in bathroom was dangerously hot .

We liked our interesting room (no.41) with its split level layout. We also enjoyed a quality car very meal in one of the many eating areas. This is a rambling, historic building, very well run and well appointed. The large car park was a big bonus. We liked this inn because it is close to two National Trust properties. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Lovely friendly staff Room 40, the room door has big gaps. The shower screen needs to be larger as the spray goes all over the floor.

The atmosphere - old building, lots of character. Slightly shabby, but clean and very comfortable. Good English breakfast if you want to pay extra for it. Noise from the bar area until after midnight.

Room fine and clean Shower was a problem (room 25) and staff didn't listen to what I wanted for breakfast. Asked for tea. Got coffee. Little bit of everything for English breakfast. Got two eggs! No butter for toast. No one on hand to ask.Had to go looking for someone.

Very pleasantly surprised - for the price, many hotels would have far lower standards but The Bell, Winslow is welcoming and very clean, our room was of a decent size and the bathroom was excellent. Plenty of communal areas to choose from. Its position is perfect, literally on the town square. Breakfast was very good. Overall, delighted, and would definitely go back again if we need to stay in the area. There was nothing we didn't like about The Bell.

Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Ample parking. Character building. Value for money. We weren't rushed in anyway. Shower in room 21 a bit hard to use and set a desirable temperature. Luckily didn't need to wash our hair!
