The wide, tree-lined market place in Brackley, with its Georgian and Victorian houses and shops, is the delightful setting for this 13th century coaching inn.

Staff very good
The room was ok size wise and fairly clean
Freezing cold room took till 2.30am to warm up Loud disco and DJ in the room below me until midnight Tired decor and furniture Managed 4 hours sleep before hoovering started at 7am. Staff didn't ask me on check out how was my stay otherwise I would have told them - they just took keys and money and didn't even say good bye - very poor and won't stay here next time I am in Winslow
Breakfast was really good. Lovely atmosphere. Great village location. Good value.
Bathroom bit small.
Friendly and helpful staff Clean, comfortable and warm room Good breakfast
There's nothing the hotel can about this, but the noise from road traffic and the adjacent market was a little too much for me personally.
Staff freindly and very welcoming.
Placed a cup on the toilet sink on day one, it left a mark on the sink ( circle in the shape of the cup ) was still there five days later when i left. Notice in toilet telling you to place towels to be replaced in shower tray (did this twice only to find the same towel folded and placed on the towel shelf. )
The room was like a little flat and felt very private whilst still able to to access bars and restaurant. Everything we needed was at hand in the hotel and town.
There was nothing That I didn't like.
Location, staff, room size and facilities, great place to stay. I love Winslow...
For me the mattress was a bit soft possibly needs a new one, otherwise great place to stay!
I liked the fact that the Hotel was an old coaching in and retained all the old features. All of the floors were uneven due to the age. In fact there were many different levels to the Hotel.
The damp in the room. Purely ingress due to the age but the staff were helpful in relation to this. We were given a discount when we left
the room was an attic with a cupboard for bathroom with 4 ft high door i continually hit my head on in the night whilst arriving in suit and shoes was continually passing signs asking to take off my work boots, i think i was staying in a work house
Good sized Room. Olde Feel. Bar / Food. Good sized Bath.
Rattling Windows (windy night). Selection of Real Ales could have been better. Shower was a bit ropey.
Nicely furnished comfortable room.
Struggled to park although they did have an event on.
The Bell Hotel is in the heart of Winslow and very convenient. It has a lot of atmosphere.
The bathroom had problems: the toilet did not flush properly, the toilet door handle fell off and the latch was broken. Our room number was not on any of the signs so even the receptionist showing me to it had to hunt up and down stairs and along corridors to find it.
Friendly, helpful staff
Room was very cold. More signs directing you to the rooms/reception etc as the hotel is like a maze and difficult to find your way around
Room, bar, food
Very poor phone single and very poor internet connetion in room
The location great local shops and the food was lovely.
Noisy neighbours in room above.
We stay there because we have family in Winslow. They seem to be making improvements, which are needed, but being such an old building you will always experience problems.
Toilet was very temperaments, took a few attempts to flush-
Suited our needs for our 3 night stay near Winslow for our daughters wedding. Good english breakfast. Helpful staff.
After travelling from Australia all we wanted was a nice shower. The shower head was so bad I had to wait for the bath to get fill up. We then had to changed rooms so my wife could shower to wash her hair. Avoid the annexure hotel rooms at the back on the top floor after a long trip with your luggage!
The Bell Hotel is a very attractive traditional building, quintessentially English in a beautiful location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble; they remained smiling and courteous throughout our stay. Each of the rooms was different, with a character of its own.
It was a very hot July weekend and my sleep was somewhat disturbed by revellers on the streets outside the hotel.
The spacious room and bathroom, the great, quiet sleep quality (notwithstanding that it was a hotel located at a pub - amazingly quiet), friendly staff
Check-in procedure could be a little bit more streamlined (it wasn't very clear where reception was and I ended up doing a few laps of the pub before I found it)
Location and pub atmosphere
The bed !
The bar - both the beer and service in the bar Breakfast - very good value Location - reasonably convenient for Silverstone We would possibly stay again as the room prices and breakfast were good value but would eat at the excellent Indian restaurant across the road
Service in the restaurant, very poor. The hotel was busy and clearly could not cope. They should have said rather than attempt to serve. We waited a very long time to be served and then the staff attempted to serve our main courses before our starters, then kept the food warm while they prepared the starters. There was another considerable wait resulting in the main courses becoming somewhat tired. Quality of food was fair at best. Inadequate parking. There was a function on Saturday evening and we had great difficulty parking.
Good location between Silverstone and Shuttleworth Collection.
