The process of checking in was simple. Parking easy. Good signage so it was easy to find. Room was clean. Breakfast good. The hotel was supposed to be 4 star - I would rate it a low 3. Looking very tired. Rooms hot no air-conditioning (electric fans do not do the job). Carpets worn out in places. Lighting in bathroom poor. Was not told that our room was a distance away and had to take two lifts and a long walk down a corridor. Was told that our room faced the fields when in fact it was the car park with pallets and rubbish left out - digusting ! The hotel looks tired and needs updating ! Not value for money.

Everything was excellent from check-in to the facolities and the rooms. TV was excellent - everything in the room was in full working order. No faults at all. If i had to pay the full price of £14.50 for breakfast I would have made a few demands. A simple thing like bacon and eggs needs to be fresh. All else can be prepared a little in advance. The spread was abundant and top class. Coffee a bit old fashioned. But the pinnacle of the full English - the bacon and eggs were prodded and left on the plate. No quality control. It was a shame.

Not much It was a bit shabby, the bed wasn't comfortable, there was no soap in the bathroom, the maintenance was poor (ie the taps in the bathroom basin were loose), the shower was ok but not great, towels were thin. We were in an executive room which was a reasonable size, but the ordinary doubles looked very small. It felt like a student hall of residence or an NHS facility, not somewhere in a pleasant country location where I would happily pay £110 a night, and not somewhere I would ever go again or recommend to friends. The staff were generally poor, but the receptionist was good.

The Bellhouse is a great location to stay very close to Windsor, Beaconsfield and on the main line into London. Decor needs to be updated. Unfortunately the rooms are dated and this hotel is in desparate need to refurbish their rooms. I was upgraded to an exec room with a complimentary mini bar - the mini bar had a bottle of water and coke and diet coke, with a pack of cheddars..

Location near Beaconsfield. Price (gbp 30/night) Good cooked breakfast Poor state of repair/maintenance/upkeep. Eg.Bedside lights hanging loose, mold in shower, shower door leaked on floor. Main elevator light was full of insects! Poor storage facilities in room -- no drawers. Very poor lighting in the room.

Room, leisure facilities, breakfast. The absurdity of having to pay £10 for a 1.5 mile taxi ride to Beaconsfield. Suggest you get another taxi company.

Pleasant friendly reception. Restaurant was broken up into small areas, good .More relaxing. It was hard to find ones way out, I got lost several times, the notices did not make it clear, and I worried lest in a fire people would panic. I felt a bit trapped at not being able to work out my way down and out.

Excellent stay, very good staff and excellent value for money for the b&b stay. The tv being on constantly in the bar/cafe area on 2 screens and music playing at the same time.As the main restaurant was closed during the break between Xmas & New year it was rather annoying for those who were not interested in watching and just wanted to eat and converse.

Convenience Normally I like the swimming pool and was disappointed that this closed early and opened late on the day I was there Lighting. Although there are numerous lights around the room, they did not light up the end of the room with seats so there was nowhere to read except in bed or in the bath. One of the light bulbs was gone and and covered in cobwebs.

We stayed here because of it was close to friends we were visiting. It was perfectly clean and the staff were very efficient and helpful. Reasonably priced for the location and standard of accommodation. It wasn't clear from the photographs that the hotel was so close to the main road and I wouldn't have chosen to stay there for a quiet break but for a quick and convenient stopover it was fine.

I'm not sure why this is a 4* hotel, it's very dated and doesn't feel like other 4* hotels I've stayed in. The main heating in the room didn't work. The room smelt like someone had been smoking in it. Upon complaining I was told that 'my room couldn't be changed and it would be looked at tomorrow'. This isn't much good when you're staying for one night. The staff were quite rude and unhelpful. Not a fault of the hotel but if your mobile is with Vodafone the network coverage is non existant in large parts of the hotel. If you can cope without a gym/pool then The Bull just up the road is much nicer.

Very welcoming at reception when I arrived late (after 22:00), accommodating at the bar to get me a hot supper, even though the kitchen was closing. Very good bar menu and excellent surroundings to relax as a single traveller. Hotel starting to look a little tired but very clean and tidy. The staff are excellent throughout. Very good breakfast buffet in variety and quality. Overal rating: excellent with recommendation. Nothing to dislike apart from lack of time to use the pool and spa!

It was cost effective, had good leisure facilities and the rooms were clean and relatively comfortable for the price. The hotel is a little tired, and needs a freshening up. The decor looks somewhat dated, but that is probably why the price is so reasonable.
