The interior is very modern, it was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, had an amazing nights sleep. Breakfast was nothing amazing however good food never the less!
The room was lovely, big and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
The wifi wasn't very good and it would have been nice to have a dressing gown :-)
The hotel is currently being renovated but the rooms themselves are unaffected and are excellent value. We had the best night's sleep we have ever had in a hotel as the bed was so comfortable!
Couldn't get the wifi to work initially but with a bit of help from the reception it was fine after that!
The guest rooms have been recently modernised and are very comfortable - if you can see past the ongoing work you will enjoy a really comfortable break at great value. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Great buffet breakfast catering for most tastes. This is the second time we've stayed here and it won't be the last.
No complaints at all - ongoing work was not a problem - workmen were very respectful to guests.
The hotel was lovely, even though being refurbished it still was beautiful... The team there was ok - the man at reception was extremely helpful when he checked us in and definitely does your hotel good
Unfortunately the above was tarnished by not being able to sleep at 3am we was woken by screaming Young girls it seemed slamming doors shouting at each other and screaming! Just at 345am when we thought it was over it started again by a girl banging on someone else door trying to get in for 30 minutes!! So what was supposed to be a relaxing stay in a lovely bed turned it a restless stay and left feeling shattered on the Sunday! was not impressed! The next morning we went down to breakfast we was not shown to a table so we picked the wrong table and was asked to move! No one then gave us a guide or asked us for tea or coffee until we then had to call for them after they served tables that arrived after us!
Foyer very nice, bar food good. Will be great when renovations complete.
Phone coverage poor.
room service was quick, nice room, friendly staff
Could not do enough for you
Staff were very helpful and the prices in the bar reasonable considering the location.
Breakfast was really nice with a good selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was good and the staff was good
The hotel wasn't finishwd off also no information what was going off in the area
comfortable bed, and food was good!
tv in room did not work. Staff have no idea how to fix and also no ac in room and was given a electric radiator to plug into wall. Supposed to have two TVs but also had one ' - which didn't even work!
Very nice first impression, staff were polite, lots of parking spaces, easy to find, great breakfast
Under refurbishment but we were made aware in advanc.. Will be brilliant once it's finished
Good parking excellent huge beds and room. Nice grounds and convenient for motorway network. Good breakfast and service.
The shower was a bit tight to get in and out of round the fixed glass panel with the basin also being so near. Nowhere to hold on to and slippy base. Big tray and good decor though.
Nice modern hotel.Referbed room.
Big bed, big tv and big shower.
Lighting by dressing table/desk inadequate for make up. Basin poor design or the wrong tap and nowhere to put anything in the bathroom.
Rooms are very well furnished. The shower was great. Modern large TV and a very comfortable bed.
Shower room lacked surface space to place things down and there was no towel rail.
The hotel proposal once complete Breakfast
Unable to get wi fi. No mobile phone signal in hotel Compete mess outside.
The location and the friendly staff
I did not like the inconsiderate visitors who found it necessary to slam doors, in my opinion all bedroom doors should be made to close quietly another thing i would have prefered a bath rather than a shower I found the bathroom very cold no heating another down let was no pretty garden to sit in
Friendly staff, fantastic room (we had a suite room 217) mini bar was restocked pleasant surprise. Hotel having renovation at the time of visit so no spa or pool so hence lower score with facilities. Breakfast was tasty. We didn't try the wifi so can't comment on that.
Newer more modern room,shower fab
Bed very soft on edges
Comfortable bed, very clean room with great restaurant that was good value
In the middle of refurb but still a nice hotel
The bedroom was fabulous, and the bed very comfy, it was clean and modern breakfast was great, service was brilliant, tho, i had coffee splashed over me, as the vacuum container had a fit !!!
I asked for a quiet room, they put me on the top floor, by the service area, bins, linen, and at 5:40am a van was outside and the driver was chatting to someone, it was poor thinking to put me there … no lifts, meant i had to walk up to the top floor, the decor was tired and being refurbished, it looked like a hostel … very poor value for money, wish i could get my money back, it was dire … the wines were very overpriced and the chicken caesar salad consisted of a load of lettuce, some warm anaemic looking chicken and tonnes of dressing, no anchovies, nothing more, 13 quid for that … outrageous
Bathroom was beautiful, drench walk in shower and bath!
Room was very dark, furniture in the lounge was very old and yellow stripes???
