Friendly staff, good food (but not gourmet). Easy walking golf course, but has 40+ new buggies if required. Rooms adequate if a little small.Perfect for a visiting golf society. Food is taken in the golf club clubhouse which may not suit all visitors.Could be noisy if too many golf societies were visiting

Stay was to enable us to attend a wedding at nearby Clearwell Castle. I was allowed to venture on an early morning run around the golf course. Evening meal was very reasonable. Our room was located near the passage fire door which slammed every time a guest entered/left their room, We were not impressed with the local town.

It was fairly convenient for where we wanted to be The room was small, bed was small, no bedside lights, walls paper thin, heard next door snoring, lawn mower, 7.30 Sunday morning. Poor restaurant, we went elsewhere. Unless you are a golf fanatic not a good choice.
