The place was extremely clean
The tv did not work continually it kept loosing the signal
Good location, staff and food good, very clean
, very noisy room, bed uncomfortable.
Good view good breakfast
There was a lot of maintenance required left note to this on departure could have done with no waterproof cover on bed cold on back thanks
The room was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. Facilities were good. Wifi did the job. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was equivalent to the average carvery but priced about double.
Good food and prompt service .
Room long walk from entrance and I'm disabled. Towel rain leaking over bathroom floor, bedroom radiator not working and bed soggy soft ! Golf Couse layout confusing . Could not get Wf in room .
Short walk to town centre, nice bar meal on balcony at clubhouse and friendly staff
Noisy floorboards and shower was too hot and difficult to adjust
VERY FREINDLY GOOD LOCATION FOR AREA
Bar Snacks were excellent quality and value for money. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfasts were expensive with a limited range and average quality.
Accommodated 5 adults and one toddler very well. Only stayed one night so didn't Need the wifi so no comment above
Rather noisy but this isn't the hotel's fault- guests coming to bed after midnight talking rather loudly despite the notices asking them to take other guests into consideration. Rooms ok but a bit bland decoratively speaking. Cost wise a little on the expensive side for what we had.
food is excellent
bar price a bit to hight
Location was good
The bed was firm and plastic mattress cover a little uncomfortable. Small resturaunt at night if they have wedding is a little noisey.
Proximity to local attractions Friendliness and attentiveness of staff
Clean and comfortable room. Excellent value. Good breakfast.
Facilities good, staff helpful good golf course
Disappointed with the standard of the breakfast
Large comfortable room with plenty of comfortable chairs and good work space. Decent shower room and shower power! Staff unfailingly helpful and pleasant. For example I had a plasticky mattress cover on the first night and this was changed promptly when I mentioned it. Food OK but evening meals a bit 'pubby', seemed like out of freezer.
Television had very poor field of view, had to stand up directly in front to see it clearly until I struggled to adjust the wall mounting to tilt it down. Even then I couldn't see it from the work space. Not a lot of light for work space. Bar area rather dominated by selfish groups of golfers who had little thought of other guests.
Easy access. Good size rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty/varied choice of tea/coffee/chocolate drinks Plenty/Quality toiletries in bathroom. Helpful staff Large car park close to accommodation level access Great for group bookings, accommodation suitable for all age groups
Having to walk to separate venue for meals. Limited menu
Poor selection of food choices. Hotels website is very out of date regarding special offers etc
Facilities were good. Most staff were very helpful, especially the receptionist in the hotel.
The bar staff was more interested in chatting to friends than serving you. Refilled used glasses instead of providing fresh glasses, no pleasantries at all. Made you feel as she was doing you a favour by serving you, very disappointed.
beds for the children rather than a pull out bed
adult bed was against the wall and very soft. breakfast, had no fresh juices and the cooked breakfast had been sat out a while.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Room - good size, comfy beds, good scrambled eggs
continental breakfast offer implies more than white n brown sliced bread. Selection of vegi alternatives for cooked brec would be good
Staff are friendly and very helpful. decent breakfast included in price.
Single beds or the duvet seem small, I kept awaking due to the duvet falling off me, if I was a larger person (I,m 5.9 and 11 stone) it would be uncomfortable. I did measure the bed and found it was standard size.
