Best location for the money! 10 minutes to Oxford street, 5 minutes to Paddington underground, a few minutes to buses that will take you to all directions in London! Nice restaurants in the near area.
Cooking smell/bacon from breakfast, but no big problem really!
Clean Not as small as I expected Rest room is small but clean Free wifi Tea and coffee in the room
No minibar No iron No safe box Free toiletries means two peanut sized soap bars plus a nearly empty shower lotion bottle for the whole three nights
The location is very near to paddington station
The smell of the hotel was really terrible
Staff and location
Bed was small for a couple and the room was a little bit small
Dining staff very pleasant
Provided kettle but no water in room and sink in communal bathroom one cannot fit a kettle and gain water. Breakfast horrible, one cannot call that 'Continental breakfast'.
The staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast.
Very steep stairs
Very good value for money hotel near a Paddington Station. Very comfortable room and and English cooked breakfast included. Would recommend for someone wanting a vfm hotel close to Paddington Station.
For the money nothing to dislike.
Location.the owner and the staff were very polite! Also they knew Greek! The room was very warm despite the freezing weather. Very tasteful breakfast.
It could have been a little cheaper. Fruits in breakfast!
The hotel really fit the bill. Although basic, the hospitality, cleanliness, customer service was excellent. Location is perfect. Breakfast was nicely served with courteous staff.Very pleased with my stay.
Breakfast was nice and freshly made for this price
It was extremely cold in the room, very small bathroom (~ 1,5 m sq.) and slightly dirty sink. Long wait for hot water.
The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Edgware Road and Paddington underground stops. It's convenient for walking to Marble Arch and starting Oxford Street. It isn't particularly central (perhaps 30 minutes total walking and metro to Oxford Circus or Trafalgar), but it isn't bad. The room was medium-sized and it was clean. Overall, it's a cheap, convenient hotel... nothing too fancy. It's a small independent hotel in London.
The room was dated and the bed looked a bit worn out. The decor was shabby and it smelt a bit old (nothing too bad). Don't intend to spend much time in the hotel as it's not a particularly nice place to look at; the window looked onto a wall and the rooms are very basic. Bathroom was clean but it was like a portable bathroom set-up; these seem common across London, and they are functional, but a dire sight. Staff were OK, and the breakfast was OK. The breakfast is full English, or toast and cereals, not much selection.
location cleanliness nice staff
nice small hotel, all you need for a couple off nights stopover
The TV remote wouldn't work and no replacement or apologies given by the night clerk... He was rude initially acusing me of not working it right..checked in and there was no electricity because of renovation work and remodelling ... This should have being stated, electricity was not available until around 7pm and work resumed early as 7:30 am.. The noise was bad and the entire floor of the room shook forcing me to get off the bed and hurriedly take my shower and check out... Overall bad experience...could have gone to Travelodge or Premier inn for greater comfort at the same price...
They dont even sell water ! Obliged to go out looking for a shop or drink from the tap
The hotel is a great link to the city. I've lived in London for a while and I have to say this was a great option and really cheap! (Booked it for NYE)
Didn't had a proper lamp was just a light bolt. The battery of the remote was empty. TV signal wasn't that strong.
Good location. Great breakfast. Decent value for money. Friendly staff who are willing to help.
Size of rooms and bathroom.
At £40 per night it was a bargain, but still a necessary evil rather than a comfortable stay
5-10 min walk to Hyde Park, set in a nice quiet location. The receptionist and breakfast staff were very friendly. Wifi was working excellent!
Very thin walls!! The housekeeper, a guy, kept knocking on our door waking us up before 11 am the check out time. It was terrible because we had a very short sleep! In future the housekeepers should be well informed about the guests' staying and to not disturb them till the check out time.
Full English Breakfast - TV and Tea coffee - Good value for money in a prime location
The only good thing is the hotel is in the center.
The room was very very small (about 2x3 m including the tiny bathroom) and it had a strange smell. No hair dryer is in the room and no shampoo is provided. Poor quality breakfast. Worst 3 star hotel I've ever been.
Central position, very close to Paddington station. Clean, good breakfast, possibility to use hairdryer
The bed was ok but short: if I had been taller than 1,75 m I wouldn't have had enough space, because the bed was immediately touching the opposite wall. On the last night the wifi was totally not working.
Great breakfast and good location
Would have liked another pillow on the bed
