Belmont Hotel Leicester  

Have stayed at the Belmont three times now and each time have found staff to be courteous and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast a choise of continental and hot. Would deffinatly recommend the full English! Havn't eaten in restaurant in the evening so can't comment. Location good as only a short walk into centre of Leicester. Would deffinatly recommend the hotel.

Mattress on bed was a bit soft for my liking.

Location excellent,Beautiful hotel,Architecturally and Historically. The staff we met were very helpful and friendly, a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was first class,as was our whole Belmont experience. Many thanks to all at the Belmont Hotel. Regards S McClarren.

Very quiet location but close to city centre. An old building but facilities fully up to date. Excellent breakfast.

No evening meals on Sunday. (But plenty of alternative eating places nearby)

We only stayed overnight but enjoyed a nice evening meal. Also, the children were able to eat a bar meal from a good varied menu.

We had a family room. However, it was a twin with a double bed settee. We ended up with the two children sleeping together in the double bed settee because it really wasn't good enough for adults to get a good night's sleep in. However, the room itself was large and generally comfortable. But the children woke up early!!

We visited the hotel as we were in Leicester to visit the Space Centre. I really liked this hotel. It's traditional and my 7 year old son and I were made to feel welcome. The room we stayed in was modern and lovely and warm. The cleanliness of the room and the en-suite was excellent. Although it was not in our room rate we elected to have breakfast and were not disappointed. The range and quality of food would not disappoint. Location wise this hotel is close to City Centre so full array for restaurants available if needed.

We had a bar meal in our room which was good value for money. The breakfast was poor for a hotel of this standing, poor quality grapefruit and diluted concentrated orange juice. Cooked breakfast was also decidedly average. The breakfast let down the facilities and staff which was a shame.

Staff worked very hard and were keen to please. The room was good, clean and with all my needs actered for. There was a kettle, tea and biscuits.

The toilet was blocked

It is in a pleasant location on New Walk, quiet but with easy access to city centre. It is also good that it has parking.
