I found the staff lovely and friendly. The food was cooked really well, particularly the breakfast. My bedroom was so hot, i couldn't sleep!! |

The hotel is in a good central location, the room was comfortable, the breakfast good and the staff friendly. It was very hot during my stay (32 degrees). A room fan had been provided but was too noisy to use overnight. The sash window would not stay open (until I propped it open with the waste paper basket!) |

Most of the staff were very helpful and the services given were good, the food was was werll presented and tasty. In the room that I was given, I could not open the window to get fresh air for 2 reasons, --1 the window looked as if I had touched it, it would have fallen out as it was in such a poor state of repair, 2 When I did try and open the window, it was jammed shut anf imovavlble |

Good location, good clean and pleasantly decorated room, good shower Surly reception staff, room far too hot even with heating off and windows open. Heat coming through floors and walls. Was this why the room was discounted?Quite noisy when movement upstairs and in corridor, but not too much of this. |

Pleasant environment. Not far from the railway station. All was clean and pleasant, and despite the cold weather, it was warm in the room. There were no computers or internet connection available to the guests. The only computer in the hotel did not function. |

Given that my main objective was to visit the University of Leicester, it was the best option I could choose. Moreover, their rooms are very spacious and comfortable and same can be said for Cherry Restaurant. |

I have used the hotel on a number of occasions and the service is always acceptable without being fantastic. The decoration of the hotel is now very tired and is long overdue redecoration. Tiles missing in the bathrooms which have old worn carpet does not help its appearance. |

Location, ambience, value. While not a complaint as such, two rooms of the same type were booked, yet the two rooms differed considerably in terms of spec when we got there. One room was spacious with a large bathroom with bath, the other was much smaller, with a tiny bathroom with shower. |

The Hotel was very clean and staff were very curtious and helpful. Good room but a little dated and more of a homely feel rather than a hotel The room was dated in its design and furnishings, lack of information about the refurbished rooms only being executive rooms, at time of booking it seemed like most of the rooms had been refurbished and there was a possibility of getting a newly styled room on the low rate, not the case it would seem |

Newly refurbed rooms and very nice The room service menu is very poor, if you do not want a sandwich, burger or a jacket potato you have nothing! |

The room, the cleanliness, the ambiance. The room was not a particularly quiet room and appeared to be positioned close to some workiing plant or other noisy installation. Portion control of the food was extremely tight, 2 potatoes per person is not adequate and we had to ask for vegetables, which is not something I would expect from the Belmont. |

The hotel is in an excellent location- near to the city centre and close to lots of restaurants. I found the rooms to be dirty and in need of updating. The cover on my bed was filthy! We stayed on a night when there was a wedding reception taking place and found it difficult to get to our rooms as we had to keep walking through large groups of wedding guests who were having their photographs taken. Reception staff were no help in re -directing us another way. |
