Cheap and convenient - peaceful surroundings.

Internet connection so slow as to be useless. The young lady in reception was more interested in her puzzle magazine than giving me any kind of explanation for this.

I like the location. It was quiet, scenic and the room was very nice.

The location is lovely, rural, yet within 15-20 minutes drive of the centre of Hereford.

The room was extremely tired, with holes in the walls and poor state of decoration. The bedding was clean and there was a small plasma screen tv, but apart from that, facilities were poor. The bathroom shower worked and the water was hot, but the decorative condition of the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Toiletries provided were minimal and basic. The room was a ground floor 'motel' type arrangement. You could hear every noise around and above and had to keep the blinds drawn as golfers were walking past just outside the window!

Beautiful Location.Good food, attractive buildings I booked when they had a special off oaroom which was excellent value. Hotel is set in a lodge on a golf course in an historic estate. Modern Restaurant, Bar and loungeare locatedthe in adjacent Manor House We would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

The only downside is that being a Golf Club, over 90% of the guests are male.,This may make unaccompanied women travellers uncomfortable. However this could be a positive attribute for others!

I travel with work all the time and stay in hotels every night and to fin rooms like this at the price paid it was excellent and will be first choice next time thank you

Clean, comfortable and my daughter and I took advantage of your special low rate for late booking. Lovely location as well as being very convenient for several small towns. We both enjoy shopping and taking in some of the local attractions.

We were very satisfied with everything.

The food was excellent. Always medium to large portions. Just what you need after a hard days fishing.

The Belmont building is beautiful. It use to be a Nunnery in the 1700's. Lots of character too. The lodges/flats, were comfortable. I found this place on Google earth for a fishing break on the beautiful river Wye. The walk down to the river was ok, but the walk back was a killer! If your not use to walking up hills of approximately 50 to 60 degrees incline, then don't go, because it is definitely not for the faint hearted. I would also like to add something else... They advertise fishing as a package. So it might be an idea to keep the swims maintained. Some of the banks are steep and can be treacherous if raining. I was advised to take a rope and stake to aid our climb. If I didn't then we would still be there now! I would also like to say that the fishing was Brilliant! A wonderful experience. We will definitely revisit one day.

It's situated in beautiful countryside of Hereford, really nice rooms, surrounded by the golf court, which wasn't distracting in any way. Very quiet place and the staff was very kind. Also the wireless internet connection worked flawlessly. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The price of breakfast was too high for us, but that's the only downside I can recall.

Beautiful location and fast registration. Staff friendly and extremely efficient.Had a problem with our shower which was attended to straight away by an on site maintenance man. Very peaceful and quiet at night and such good value for money.Will most certainly be back to stay there in the near future.

The golf facilities and helpfulness of the pro shop - very good and helpful and pro-active, making suggestions and giving advice.

Receptionist did not have a clue about the needs of groups/clubs/societies/multiple group of golfers (male). The pricing policy is chaotic - no guarantee that even if you book 20 rooms (of the available 30) = 40 golfers, 10 months in advance that you will get the best deal. Example website gives sunday deal - so I tried to book for any sunday in the next 6 months. The deal is "not visible" on their website. I called the hotel direct, the receptionist just refered me to the website./////// We went to the dining room (my wife and I) at 19.05 - we had to listen to "well, I am not sure if the chef can manage - their is a table of 16 golfers to deal with at 20.00". We shoudl not have to plead and then offer "many thanks" to get fed in the restauarant at the hotel we are staying. No warning to sya we need to book well in advance.
