Warm welcome Free WiFi was pretty good Rooms well appointed
Fairly pricey Shower door kept falling off Food average though not cheap
Pleasant experience.Good food. Great location.
Room 3 was great with a superb on suite, great value for money. Spent two nights there for a family wedding and couldn't fault anything; well done Belmore!
Breakfast finished at 9am,which is too early for someone having a leisure break.it should be until 10am everyday.
beds, size of rooms, bathrooms, breakfasts, staff
internal layout of hotel : many steps and fire doors to negotiate and there is no lift
cleaniness , restaurant waiting time for breakfast
Good standard of bedrooms
nothing. we found everything was good
Friendliness of the staff
There was an issue with smoke(rs) from function whilst we were eating an evening meal. The menu was a bit samey, ie chips with most things
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean.
The bed did not have a mattress protector and the pillows did not feel crisp:They felt tired and lumpy. The open window was difficult to reach to close. There was a lot of noise in the early hours because the Belmore is also a public house.
The bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable and clean. It had a very good hair dryer and toiletries were excellent.
As the weather was very warm, we had our window open at night. Because of the good position of the hotel, it was a bit noisy with traffic passing by.
Lovely spacious bedrooms very reasonably priced. 5 minute walk from Brooklnads Metro Station.
It feels like a pub with rooms. Reception not always manned and bar staff often too busy to be attentive on reception matters.
Rooms very comfortable and very clean
Bar needs a lick of paint
Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable room.
No-one on reception when we arrived at 3:15 pm. There was a sign on the reception desk telling guests to alert the staff serving in the bar. I had to wait my turn while the bar staff served two large drinks orders before I could get one of them to find the receptionist. Service at breakfast the next morning was excruciatingly slow. It took about an hour and twenty minutes to get served and some of the food was cold when it arrived. It had obviously been waiting for collection for some time.
Everything was spotlessly clean and bar area was airy, food was excellent. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, made the holiday worthwhile.
No air-conditioning or fans available for the rooms this let it down a little due to the heat. No lift so you need to be fit and agile.
the room was decorated and furnished very nicely
The corridors were very dated unlike the bedrooms.
Spacious clean room Easy check in Plenty of parking spaces
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The location was very handy for the tram, just a 5-10 minute stroll down the road
Our main problem was the hotel was too hot. Being an old building there was no air conditioning which this building certainly needs.
Very comfortable room and facilities
We liked especially the friendly staff.
The bathroom could have done with a bit of renovation. And daily room service did not seem to include vaccing the floors, nor changing a dirty bed sheet unless it was due to be changed anyway. The food was nice pub food but not anything special as we were led to believe from the advertisement. Service was very slow due to being understaffed at times.
Lovely old building. Room was spacious ,recently and tastefully decorated. Had a meal in the bar which was tasty and good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Room was on 3rd floor and no lift. We're getting a bit old for the stairs.
Airy clean room, comfortable bed, well furnished, quiet.
Food and service. Crowded noisy bar/restaurant. Two of three main courses were uncooked and totally wrongly described fish - cod instead of plaice. Replacement offered was beef which was so tough it was inedible, raw beans. Cost £41 and no reduction only fine words. Suggest clients don't eat there.
Our room was very comfortable and (on the night we were there) quiet.
The shower waste was sluggish.
comfort of rooms, cleanliness.
stairs to climb to second floor. Can be noisy at front of hotel
excellent location breakfast very good the waitress was very helpful. if in area again will book this hotel.
there was a birthday party on there was a lot of noise with people waiting taxis in the early hours we were in room 21. 28 /06 / 2014.
