Excellent rooms, friendly staff and good quality food at reasonable prices. Just a short walk to tram station to get into Manchester. Free car park saves taking car into Manchester where parking is expensive.

No one was at the front desk when we left and we had to look for someone. a Full breakfast was included but there was no one there to tell us where to go so started on the buffet before before someone came and set us right. Otherwise the stay was grand.

Breakfast staff were very unfriendly. My husband was only having toast for his breakfast and had to ask for it. When the toast came there was one slice!! We asked for more and again only got one slice. Paper thin walls, family with small children in the room next to us who were very noisy. All in all didn't get much sleep and wouldn't use this hotel again which is a shame as the food was very good and the location great for the Metro Link etc. however for the price there are better hotels in the area.

We loved our classy comfortable room with a very luxurious and spacious bathroom. The decor was tastefully done with a homely feel.

duvet's are too small for the beds no extra blanket or pillows. Pillows are too hard. Shower curtain doesn't go all the way across the bath not good when it's a power shower. Also the water wasn't very hot. These things were all the same problems that existed before the refurbishment so I was disapointed that the prices went up but the standard hasn't.

What a fabulous hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant in the main bar area serves the most wonderful food, and I really have to say "Compliments t the Chef". The service is fast and efficient and the food is served hot and with a smile. A gem of a find in Manchester !!!

Great place to stay if you want a good nights sleep. Pretty close to brooklands metro station. Very clean and I would stay there again in the future.

for what I thought was a budget price our room was lovely and we had the most attractive bathroom. The Staff were were extremely friendly and helpful and we had a lovely meal. Will definitely use this hotel again.

The room was nicely furnished, lighting was good and it looked like the photos on the website. Reception were very friendly and it was excellent value compared to other hotels in the area that looked very shabby in the photographs. .

There is no lift, I was on the top floor and the very end of the hotel, I had to follow a member of staff up to the room who only carried a carrier bag for me, leaving me with a suitcase, and 3 other bags....it was a long way. On reception was a man and the girl that showed me up was a manager, surely the man could have helped me with my luggage and the manager could have stayed on reception. Also the room was cleanish but I did find a couple of hairs in the bathroom. The bar staff were not overly attentive.

Pleasantly surprised by both the size and quality of the furnishings and facilities in my room. The reception & bar staff were also very friendly & helpful. Better than I expected and good value at the price. I will most probably return next time in Sale.

The breakfast was quite uninspiring partly down to the staff member who was uncommunicative maybe partly due to the fact he appeared to be multi-tasking. He could try to be a bit more pleasant.

Convenience to family

No air conditioning or lifts. No bottled water in the room. It was a very hot weekend, the room had been booked for weeks, the staff could have aired the room before our arrival Pillows were all feather, this is unnecessary with so many people having allergies

Unfortunately the room allocated to us was at the front of the hotel and the area below the window was the congregation point for all of the smokers from the bar and the farewell point for everybody going home at the end of the night..... very noisy in the extreme.
