I liked it as it was close to Belton Park golf club, I was playing there as part of the Royal Logistics Corps golf society annual spring meeting.

The room I was in was the wardrobe was a little bit dated and could be updated.

The room was very clean and spacious, and a balcony and was ready for us when we arrived early for the wedding. Food very good. And we were offered two room keys, very useful.

The loo flush was temperamental!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were very good: we used the pool, sauna and steam room. The meal we had in the Claret Jug bar was very good as was the breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious.

The distance from the reception to our room was quite a walk. The room was good apart from a grubby valance on the bed. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work.

Paid (through Booking.com) for additional single at £370 for Bed & Breakfast. This is what a couple would have paid. So I feel thre should have been a reduction for breakfast for one only.

The staff are excellent The facilities are fabulous - pool, spa, gym, squash courts etc Although not one myself, great for golfers. The bars are very comfortable. Breakfast was a feast.

The room we stayed in was tired looking, though both clean and comfortable and generous in size. The bar drinks were terribly expensive (£35 for 2 x large wine and 2 x small wine). Shame as everything else was perfect.

We were infested with ants when we woke up. They were in our bedding, on our bedside cabinets, in our drinks and in the bathroom.

Location for the business I was conduction.

The room was very cold as when the fan was on it was too noisy and with it off it was too cold! Even though the hotel was not full I was put in a room that was as far from reception as you could get!

Friendly staff, comfortable hotel and in good location.

We reported that the heated radiator in the bathroom did not work but it was not fixed.

May have been the time of our visit but too busy in the restaurant in the evening. People were crammed in and queuing for the carvery. People wandering around the restaurant. Not at all good for a relaxing evening dinner. Carvery not brilliant. Bathroom was in need of a refurb.
