Good sized, light room, well funished, with view down to the sea. Helpful staff and good breakfast service. The hotel seemed friendly and welcoming. The noise from the road meant you could not sleep with the windows open.

The Hotel is in an very good location, very clean and the staff very helpfull. The Hotel is on the main road if you have a room at the front of the building it can be very noisey as we found to the early hours.

Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Pool area was a lovely bonus as was the free parking on site. Staff were friendly and helpful, good location for beach, shops, bars & restaurants. Would benefit from modernising the communal areas. A few issues with breakfast - undercooked sausages (dangerous as I am pregnant) and very leaky teapot!

The leisure complex and the breakfast The mattress was worn out and offered no support for my back. W hen I ran the bath the water was dirty and contained sediment. But when I notified reception the staff was very efficient and a new room was made available quite quickly. This room was much better. I was surprised that there was no central heating after the beginning of May as it was cold when we arrived.

Was very comfortable for the 2 nights we stayed, breakfast was plenty and enjoyable. Lovely location very close to all amenenities, we have stayed at this hotel before and chose to stay there again, and will do again if it is available on future trips. Cupboards in bedrooms were a bit tired and would not close properly, radiators were still on even though was very warm weekend. We did not have a choice of bath or shower, we had shower only and it was not powerful enough for our liking so a bath would have been better.

Clean, fresh room. Sea view from our room. Staff were friendly and approachable. Shower pressure was very weak, and it took at least 10 minutes for the water to heat up. There wasn't a lot of variety at breakfast, especially if you didn't opt for the full cooked English breakfast.

Good value for what you get, the facilites are adequeate and the food was good the hotel is right on a busy roundabout so it was noisy with the window open. It was a little tired and could do with some refurbishment especially the bathroom in our room which could do with a deep clean. The Leisure facilites were nice although the chaging areas need updating and the shower was no more than a trickle, however as stated before for what we paid the accomodation was adequate

Helpful staff, good quality breakfast served quickly, friendly bar and a proper bar not the usual hotel soulless experience. A very good location for beaches and urban attractions. Rooms were quite spacious and clean even if the decoration was a little tired. A problem with the tv remote was quickly fixed. Good parking facilities. We did not use the spa . a rugby team were visiting at the same time, they were fine but the sight of a gang of smokers outside the main door was off putting

There is more than sufficient parking adacent to the hotel which is located close to town centre and seafront. It has a well-stocked bar and friendly bar staff. Overall it has clean, if somewhat basic, bedrooms and facilities. Excessive road noise could be heard in the front bedrooms until the early hours of the morning. Breakfast did not justify the cost either in quality or selection and the food provided for the function was disappointing.

The staff were welcoming, and it had a large free car park. Although we didnt use it there was a leisure complex and swimming pool. The bar was reasonably priced and seemed popular, and had some good beers on draught. It was within walking distance of the town, so there was a good selection of restaurants fairly close by. The room we were in was of a good size, and the bed was comfortable, and the room was warm on a cold January weekend. The decor in the room was a bit dated and tired, in that some of the wallpaper was peeling back behind the radiators. It would have been nice to have had a small fridge, in order to keep a bottle of beer or wine cool, as the bars closed at 11pm, which seems rather early for a resort type hotel.

The safe did not work, and we had to ring down two days running to get a maintenance man to open it up for us. The breakfast although was plentiful, was mainly dried out.

We had a comfortable and relaxing break. We were delighted to find such a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the beach.

“Fantastic family friendly hotel with large rooms and lots of space. We had a large double room with two extra camp beds put in and still had space to swing a cat or two!! The swimming pool area is lovely and although children are only allowed at certain times it is still very family friendly. Breakfast is great and again it is family friendly, my children were very pleased to be allowed to choose their own breakfast! ” Agnes, Reading |
