Great place to stay and very welcoming. Chris & Jan are great hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Great customer focus.
That I wasn't able to stay longer!!!
Newly decorated ensuite room. Warm and comfortable.
Breakfast wasn't great.
no guest lounge poor shower (a broken part taped up with sellotape and ducktape) a bit old-fashioned, needs updating
everything was excellent.lovely breakfast.beutiful view from dinning room.warm and friendly owners.
six steps to bathroom.lol.
The breakfasts.. Lovely fresh , good quality food e.g fresh fruit salad , loch fyne kippers, home made veggie sausage. Very helpful hosts with good local knowledge. Spacious comfortable room, nice tea making facilities, love!y thick towelsp
It wasn't en suite which meant a few nocturnal hikes to the bath room
Excellent location, close to ferry. Warm rooms and a comfy bed! Pay the extra for the luxury room with its own bathroom.
Absolutely stunning view from our room! Easy to get to the rest of Brodick from there. Pretty good value for the money, I think.
Bathroom with extremely creaky floors and tiny electric shower - first time I've used one so it was rather intimidating and not intuitive. Beds were okay but not super-comfortable. Wifi password posted in the book of guest services with an announcement about charging for excessive use - not sure what that meant or whether we would incur another charge.
The view, the friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was excellent.
There was a little too much ivy around the outside of our windows.
Lovely views, close to ferry port and to good eating places in Brodick. You can easily walk or cycle to the place in a matter of minutes from the ferry. Pleasant lady running the place (did not meet husband). Nice clean sheets, fresh towels and comfy bed. Good breakfast. BUT....
Black mould on showerhead (profuse), dust and grime on controls of bedside lamps, bulbs very dusty. Shower sort of OK - nice temperature, but not that strong flow.
We stayed in the economy rooms with shared bathroom. Rooms were clean and value for money, excellent breakfast.
Our bed was a bit on the firm side for my liking and creaked a lot, it could do with replacing. Also the house hound actually bit me, in all my travels this is a first and therefore I can't recommend this place to others.
Peaceful and friendly, easy walk to ferry and beaches. Local walk info good.
A paper at breakfast would add to it. Everything is slightly dated but comfortable and clean.
Quiet, comfortable, wonderful view and good food. Like much of Arran it has the feeling of being in a time warp when life was less hectic; it's quite nostalgic but also has some modern additions such as wifi.
No major dislikes. Overall the decor is a bit tired. Of the three rooms only one had en-suite facilities - the other two had sinks.
First-rate trad Scottish breakfast Cosy economy single room, plenty of heating if required Plenty of storage space Good-sized wash basin Good firm bed (perhaps a tad too firm for some!) Friendly informal atmosphere, welcoming Superb views from front A lot of useful information provided
Could be improved by a shelf over the wash-basin - not quite enough space to put things and I tended to knock them over - but I am a bit clumsy!
Comfortable room. Welcoming host. Great breakfast with a wide choice of dishes. Very competitive prices. Within easy walking distance of the pier, and restaurants.
No complaints, at the price not having en suite was acceptable.
A very pleasant stay in a wonderful location. Hosts friendly and welcoming.
NIce warm, clean bedroom and lovely choice of breakfasts.
Rather a steep hill on way to B & B if on foot another not so steep road at opposite end.
The welcome and breakfast
Thoroughly recommend Belvedere to anyone visiting the lovely Isle of Arran. Chris and Jan were the most excellent hosts and made us very welcome. Lovely comfortable room - and brilliant breakfast choices! Thanks once again!
NOT A THING!!
Really nice place to stay..and good view to sea from the hotel...reallly enjoyed my trip.
Chris and his wife are nice people, they will help you with every problem you will have. Arran is a great and beautifull island and the people are very nice.
Bed room view
Smell of oldness and sitting beside strangers for breckfast round one big table no atmosphere like sitting in an empty church
Great nature trail to Lamlash begins just a minute from the property. And how nice to have fresh fruit each morning! Location high on a hill, in a quiet neighborhood, with great views.
The setting is homely. Everyone is introduced to each-other at breakfast time.
