I liked the morning food and clean and comfortable bed
I didn't like the room we was up 5 flight of stairs 61 in total. no bathroom in our room, each time we needed the loo we had to go down 46 stairs to the loo and back up phew it was hard work so this needs to be looked at. when I booked I did not know that there was not a bathroom I thought all hotel rooms had a bathroom or a toilet
Nothing at all
Very bad. How come this thing is rated as hotel? It is a bad bread and breakfast!!! The tiniest room I've ever stayed in. Dirty. Uncomfortable. English breakfast or nothing (you take it or you leave it). Absolutely terrible
The staff was friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was a good size. This is a hotel that I would definitely recommend to friends and colleagues looking for a place to stay while they are in London. The proximity to the Paddington Station makes it so easy and convenient to move around.
Breakfast was very good. Cooked lovely Lady serving was really helpful Room was very clean and tidy Young man on the desk was kind helpful. Plan to book again on my next visit
We found the quality of service was excellent from such a friendly helpful staff always very pleasent and the receptionist was always very polite and helpful, happy to have a chat with you. For a budget priced hotel in this area it was more than value for money, just one word to describe it.. EXCELLENT
There was nothing to dislike with this property
Proximity to Paddington was a definite plus. Friendly staff willing to help, cleanliness and a sense of feeling safe.
Room was a bit small but for the price including breakfast it was good value
very close to station, many places to eat around, small but comfortable room, free wifi, nice staffs, good breakfast!
after taking shower, the bathroom got all wet...
location and nice breakfast/staff
Close to destination
Walking distance to Paddington station and underground
Noise made by underground trains somewhere under the hotel building is too strong. That's why hotel is certainly overpriced.
Very nice staff, clean and good location with excellent connection to public transport (Paddington is a 10 min walk away). Excellent value for money.
There are 2 things that I didn’t consider as negative but others might not like: there are steep stairs to the breakfast room and also to the 3rd and 4th floor; and, as with many other hotels in London, the rooms and bathroom are very small.
The hotel looked clean and recently refurbished; the rooms similarly were of a good standard.
Instant coffee for breakfast!!!
As I would be arriving late at the hotel I had requested a lower floor level, away from the street. Pleasantly surprised to have the room type I had requested when I arrived. Made for easy access with luggage and much quieter
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Paddington Station and easy to access. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable.
The staff weren't very polite.
Decent cooked breakfast included, comfortable bed, Great shower. Good price
sometimes a little noisy at night but you have to expect this. Bathroom a bit small but again its expected. For the price paid in a hotel in central London I think theses things are trivial
This hotel was in an excellent location for a weekend in London
good location - early breakfast time
narrow steps to fourth floor - tiny room and bath
Absolutely brilliant for closeness to Paddington and central London. The room and bed was comfortable. The staff were businesslike.
There was a very loud party going on in the room next door to mine until 2 in the morning. I banged on the wall and they eventually quietened down but I would have thought the night staff should have heard them.
Location. 5 Minutes walk to Paddington metro and train station. Easy access to the city and airport. A lot of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. They had recently installed wifi and currently in testing stage. We had used it and it is great (room on ground floor). Breakfast was ok.
Room was a bit small but again this is London.
Upgrade of room. Excellent value for money. Free wifi. Cleanliness, Helpful staff.
More toiletries should be provided - just one small soap.
Location is perfect near Oxford, hyde Park, padington station as well as the other hotels in the same area
Expensive compared to the service 69 GRP per night very small room I can't take my big luggage in the room especially the stairs are very sharp .breakfast room very narrow .poor reception lounge I declared that other hotels in the same area are much more better
very helpful staff, clean room, very decent bathroom, friendly service at breakfast, excellent value for money
the lack of elevator and the fact that my room was on the fourth floor
Just a good all round stay. The receptionist was really Helpful. We stayed in rooms 19-20 they were great for the money. Breakfast was also good enough considering it was included in price.
Only one thing the glass was smashed in one of the windows which doesn't look great ! Shame as the hotel is fab otherwise!
Location and proximity to Paddington Station/Underground. Friendly staff member at Reception
Room was very small. Very difficult to access and exit the room Bathroom rather inadequate, poor water pressure and luke warm shower
