Distance to Oxford street using bus 23 excellent just outside the Hotel . Bus 36 from Victoria to Paddinton after flying into Gatwick also perfect. Friendly staff - excellent breakfast and service at breakfast. Able to leave luggage there after check out. 24hr service all at a good price. Comment only - many stairs as all Hotels are in that area- but that keeps you healthy anyway and higher up in the hotel keeps you away from the rumble of undergrounds trains. Again all Hotels in that area have that characteristic. Experienced travellers have good physic and ear plugs so no problems. |

The location was pretty good, close to the subway. Because the floor was so inclined, I had to do magic to not roll out of the bed. Also the sheets were not too clean, and the room was not as "cosy" as expected. |

It was conveniently located for Paddington Stn, which was the reason I had booked it. The room was basic but comfortable. It was pretty charmless, including staff. I would not choose to stay here again. |

The breakfast was nice and the room was clean. The subway was shaking my room, which was in the basement with a view to the ventilation system of the house (which was quite loud). |

The breakfast was good. The rooms were small and cramped. The room needed a complete refurbish as carpets looked rather worn and filthy. It is a basic room |

breakfast, near metro (tube), lots of pillows Real bad smell in room ,sewer kinda smell, airplane size bathroom, reception not friendly or smiley, need to pay first all your nights before even watching your room, so if you are staying for a week, they make you pay the whole week |

Location - fantastic breakfast - the manager was just wonderful - so polite and helpful Four flights of narrow steep stairs were a bit of a challlenge, but make a good story to tell |

Convenience to Paddington/Heathrow It was small and dark. The room was mostly clean, but the soap left in the bathroom had been used. The tv reception was blurry with static - only two channels. |

Hotel staff was helpful. Room at ground floor to noisy, only about 5 meters from bus stop. Not comfortable at all in the night time. |

Hotel is well located, not faraway from underground. Not possible to sleep before midnight and after 6 AM due to noise and vibrations produced by tube . More than that, in one evening i had to stay 10 min. before the receptionist allowed me to go inside. I did not pay to waste my time behind the hotel. Bad experience i can conclude. |

Location to Paddington Station The staff was rude, rarely at the desk and you had to leave the key. The room in the basement is on the train. You feel and hear the train all the time. We moved to the second floor and it was better, but then the street noise was bad. |

Our room was exceptionally clean, and I thought our room was a reasonable size. Nicely decorated too. Breakfast was great. We went down to breakfast early (7:30am) and didn't have to wait for a table although we noticed that by the time we left there were people waiting in the hallway for a table. |

Clean and convenient. Very handy for local amenities. Very small bathroom and lots of stairs up to room with no disabled facilities. |
