This friendly bed and breakfast-hotel is just minutes from Hyde Park and close to Oxford Street for shopping. Paddington Station is just a 2-minute walk away and has train services to Heathrow...

The location and staff are very good
A bit expensive and the shower and toilet are very small and not comfy.
Great location--close to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Good English breakfast. Will probably stay here on my next London visit.
Close to the tube tunnels, so one can hear vibration from tube trains.
Convenient location near Paddington train station, Heathrow connection, tubes and busses. Folksy, multi cultural neighborhood. Very quiet on secluded leafy square. Good bed, great shower.
Traditional breakfast was below expectations: no choices at all, only white cotton toast, very bad coffee, bad tea. Not even orange marmalade! But friendly service.
2 minutes walk from paddignton station
no lift as it is an old building
Quiet area, close to tube, short walk to Hyde park,Good breakfast.
Location - close to Paddington, Edgware Rd tube stations, opposite St Marys' Hospital. Friendly counterstaff - the same guy was at work for at least 72! Hence, he was still in a good mood.
Breakfast was small, there was no lift in the building so I had to carry my heavy bag up the stairs. The bathroom was claustrophobic, Ive never seen such a small bathroom! It was possible to sit on the toilet and take the shower at the same time.
Excellent Location Good breakfast Really good value overall
Needs some WD40 for the doors as the hinges are noisy
Clean room, great location, nice breakfast.
Smallest room I've ever seen! Underground trains make noises, unfortunately hearable in room...
Very good location nice room and good breakfast
In the room hear underground
good location reasonable price in London
tiny staircase no elevator no shampoo or body gel
excellant breakfast need to ask for a lower floor room next time
The location of the Belvedere is very close to Paddington, which suited my needs. It was good value for money and included a cooked breakfast. Easy to book and no-fuss booking in and checking out
The bedroom was very small and the bathroom was tiny so not very easy to use. The cooked breakfast was ok but a bit too greasy for my liking
Staff very helpful - room good value and clean - good tv service - free wifi - breakfast ok - easy access to tube - shops and pubs and food good selection locally - will stay again
I stayed at belvedere hotel for 5 nights as a solo traveler in September 2014. All in all it was a good stay and value for money but there are some things I would like better. Here are some points Location – very close to Paddington station, a 7 min walk from Hyde park, on a side street. The location for me was great with many restaurants around. Staff- didn’t use them much, but friendly and polite Breakfast- a simple breakfast (hot dogs, bacon, eggs, beans, toast and tea/coffee) that was included in the price, and although simple it added a more homely atmosphere for the stay. I would just change the serving hours to be until ten (the serve until 9) cause on holiday its nice to sleep in WIFI –free wifi in all the rooms which was one of reason I choose the hotel I would rank it 7/10 and would stay again if it stays in the current price range but would be pleased if there was more cleanliness and a longer breakfast
Cleanliness – that’s the downfall. Wasn’t dirty but they didn’t change my sheets the whole time I was there Room – the room was small but decent , the bathroom on the other hand was very small that I needed to leave the door open when using the toilette as my knees hit the door. As I was traveling alone it was ok, but with company it would be embarrassing. Also the hotel has no lift. The single rooms were on third floor , so that was a bit annoying walking up, especially with luggage . so before you go check which floor you are on. Also there isn’t a fridge which would have upgraded the stay, but there is a small coffee area in the room
Nice location. Close to the tube station. Clean rooms. Updated bathroom.
Kitchen/cleaning staff functional not gracious. Tired and weary travelers shouldn't expect any forgiveness of time. My son arrived 5 minutes prior to the end of breakfast and they refused to serve him because they had already started clean up. At check out time, literally to the minute, they were pounding on the door asking us to leave. We were ready to go but it was definitely a feel of function, not welcome.
Great value for money, 2 adults 2 boys ( aged 12,9 ) , £200 for 2 nights in a family room inc a nice breakfast, 20 mins walk to Marble Arch / Oxford St.. Hyde Park 5mins away. Great for all attractions ect, would stay again if in London
Good location open 24/7
Hard to find, compared to the other ones in the same street. Clean but old and creepy bed sheets
Large TV in the room. Clean bathroom. Breakfast included although you need to ask for two eggs. Extra toast is provided upon request.
Man at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming. Train could be heard from the room. Small soap provided for three nights. Extra towels not given when promised. Space outside our room used as a storage area. Window in front broken giving a rough feel to the place.
Great neiborhood Clean and comfortable Good english breakfast
Not specially friendly staff No elevator
close to Paddington station, the room was new , very clean perfect nights sleep great shower. very good and quick breakfast , good team, will stay here again .
had to leave to go back home..
Gent on reception was really helpful and friendly
Noise from other guests
Location suited us and we were within walking distance of attractions we planned to visit. Breakfast was good, although limited in choice.
Lots of steep stairs to climb to get to room. Bathroom was tiny. No hot water in the morning!
Very narrow stairs and small bathroom.
Lack of bath mat and hand towel
