2 minutes walk from paddignton station
no lift as it is an old building
Quiet area, close to tube, short walk to Hyde park,Good breakfast.
Location - close to Paddington, Edgware Rd tube stations, opposite St Marys' Hospital. Friendly counterstaff - the same guy was at work for at least 72! Hence, he was still in a good mood.
Breakfast was small, there was no lift in the building so I had to carry my heavy bag up the stairs. The bathroom was claustrophobic, Ive never seen such a small bathroom! It was possible to sit on the toilet and take the shower at the same time.
Excellent Location Good breakfast Really good value overall
Needs some WD40 for the doors as the hinges are noisy
Clean room, great location, nice breakfast.
Smallest room I've ever seen! Underground trains make noises, unfortunately hearable in room...
Very good location nice room and good breakfast
In the room hear underground
good location reasonable price in London
tiny staircase no elevator no shampoo or body gel
excellant breakfast need to ask for a lower floor room next time
The location of the Belvedere is very close to Paddington, which suited my needs. It was good value for money and included a cooked breakfast. Easy to book and no-fuss booking in and checking out
The bedroom was very small and the bathroom was tiny so not very easy to use. The cooked breakfast was ok but a bit too greasy for my liking
Staff very helpful - room good value and clean - good tv service - free wifi - breakfast ok - easy access to tube - shops and pubs and food good selection locally - will stay again
Good location open 24/7
Hard to find, compared to the other ones in the same street. Clean but old and creepy bed sheets
Great neiborhood Clean and comfortable Good english breakfast
Not specially friendly staff No elevator
close to Paddington station, the room was new , very clean perfect nights sleep great shower. very good and quick breakfast , good team, will stay here again .
had to leave to go back home..
Gent on reception was really helpful and friendly
Noise from other guests
Location suited us and we were within walking distance of attractions we planned to visit. Breakfast was good, although limited in choice.
Lots of steep stairs to climb to get to room. Bathroom was tiny. No hot water in the morning!
Very narrow stairs and small bathroom.
Lack of bath mat and hand towel
The room was very comfortable and had a lovely shower room ensuite.
The view at the back.
We had a very nice stay in this central and tidy London hostel. Much better service and comfort than the bulk of the budget accomondations in central London. Affordable prices as well.
The place was close to Paddington station which suited me. I liked the fact that I had a ground floor. Breakfast staff were very pleasant and attentive. I was welcomed and expected as I had booked.
Very small room which was noisy from underground noises. Handing key back when going out was difficult as on 2 occasions there was no staff at the desk.
The location is fantastic, especially if you need to travel from Paddington. The breakfast is nice as well. The staff for breakfast is really nice and offer you a warm English breakfast. The single rooms are more or less clean and they change the towels every day. There is free Internet all over the hotel and the reception was great!
It was kind of noisy during the night and also kind of hot in the room. The staircases are really narrow and if you have a room on the upper floor and a large suitcase, it can be quite an adventure. While the breakfast was not too bad, I missed some things like fruit and the likes. It is not that hard to buy some bananas or apples. The staff is helpful but it felt like they were really bored and did not want to be there. I only had one towel in my room and had to ask twice for a second one and the second time, the guy at reception said that it is only one towel per person per day. He did give me one after all but on the "house rules" that were tapped to my door, it said that you just had to ask at reception for e.g. towels or an iron.
reception moved my room when he saw I had walking difficulties breakfast excellent and the cleanliness of dining room was superb
ensuite in double room a bit small ans needs updating
Liked the balcony! The small but comfortable bed left ample space in the room to move about in. Shower titchy! But why not, as everything was JUST big enough, and it meant the room felt generous. Sat out on the balcony several times and enjoyed the ambience of the Square. Easy walking distance from Paddington Station and from Hyde Park too, Lancaster Gate tube station also same distance (5 to 10 mins max).
No shampoo or any other complimentary items in the room.
The staff hoe serves the breakfast were friendly
Very small room, with doors only made for thin people.
i liked this hotel as it was very close to st marys hospital as my daughter was having treatment there. over the past few months we have stayed in different hotels in the area. this was the best and the closest. i will stay here again.
i was in a single room which was in the basement. i think the underground was the other side of the wall. which was not good for a good nights sleep. i will ask for a upper floor room next time
