Loved the friendliness, relaxation, great place to be for our walk. And FOOD absolutely excellent.
The staff were very helpful, the food was great, the location is perfect for walkers
Some road noise
The service was awful by Craig from the minute we stepped into that place. He showed us our room which was a total disappointment and freezing cold just as his welcome. Whirlpool bath was a joke. Black mold on all windows, view is obstructed. We didn't dare to order any food after that especially when I asked about the food and there was only a wave from him to the wall. Saga continued in the morning with breakfast, we had to wait 40 minutes to get our breakfast, he had 1 table when we arrived, they were served, after 20 minutes another family came down and he was taking their orders before ours. On the way to the kitchen I asked when his planning to take our order as we arrived 20 minutes earlier...there was a sorry thrown at our way and he took our order, too...but guess who got their breakfast first? Yes, the family! I hope karma works for you Craig and you'll get this poor service from somebody else on your holiday...
Was very cosy, clean and had an adjoining room which was perfect for our son to sleep in. Breakfast was delicious.
Amazing views, lovely, relaxed and comfy place to stay. Yummy yummy food and lovely helpful friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again :)
The hotel felt very shabby. We were met by a foosty smell the minute we walked in. The decor in the outer and inner halls was very poor. The bar and restaurant were ok and have obviously been given a bit more attention. The bedroom wasn't very nice, with rotting window sills and horrible black stuff around the window panes. The bed was very clean, but incredibly uncomfortable! Definitely not worth what we paid, and I wouldn't recommend it.
Very helpful staff - friendly with a warm welcome. Excellent food and drink in a comfortable restaurant/bar. Room was clean and the bed was unbelievably comfortable - great nights sleep.
Wifi wasn't working but we didn't go away to sit on Facebook all day so not the end of the world.
Nice room ,nice food ,excellent staff &great house lager
Tv remote didn't work
Lovely wee bar and great view
The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were cheerful, prompt and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing and the scenery was stunning.
I was charged more than the agreed booking price but had no print out or internet access to dispute the price. I would make sure I have one or the other next time.
excellent location near Loch Tay, good staff, and nice meals in the pub. Would definitely stay there again.
we had an overnight stay after a good day of hiking and bagging a munroe or 2.staff were friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. our room was a compact double, perfect for the one night, the decor was fresh and modern and very clean. the hotel is in a lovely setting and we would definitely return in the future.
they had ran out of baileys irish cream!!!!!
The food - excellent
No hot water in the morning - clearly the tank could not cope with the number of guests (the hotel was not full) and we were the last up. Very disappointing, as it ruined an otherwise pleasant stay
Food was excellent Staff friendly and attentive
situation, room, food, beer, waiters
I arrived a little late. Staff called to find out if I was still on the way and then waited for me. Very polite and cheerful. Was exhausted and had the best nights sleep I can remember, followed by an amazing cooked breakfast!
Very good location and attentive staff. Comfortable room, although very small. Good breakfast.
A bit expensive for the quality offered.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food and especially the breakfast was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The view from the window was a little disappointing as mostly a roof.
The staff was very friendly, the room very comfortable and very clean and the surroundings was lovely. We enjoyed our stay with 2 kids and 2 dogs. The breakfast was delicious.
The two young people who were doing everything were very good and nothing was a problem to them
The en-suite was very small. Not much space to get in between the door and washbasin (and we are slim). The window had clear glass rather than opaque and although there was a blind it did not cover the window properly. The recessed lights did not appear to have the correct IP rating for a bathroom (this should be checked by a qualified electrician)
Staff Value for money Location Service
We only stopped over here for one night .When I booked I was told we had the smallest room as that was the only room left. However ,the room was adequate ,very clean & comfy . A wee bit advice for anybody thinking of eating there. Don't have a starter as the main dishes are huge .Food fantastic.
Cant think of anything negative to say about this hotel
Great value. Great pub food. Nice room. Friendly staff. Lovely views in a beautiful location.
No mattress protector.
fag ends on the roof outside my room window
Great view of the loch (Room 5). Friendly staff. Good food in bar/restaurant. Comfortable beds, and the third for our adult son was almost a separate room, not just a crowded triple. Our little dog always welcome even in restaurant. Excellent location for visiting this part of the Highlands.
Breakfast finished at 9.15; we are lazy on holiday and until 9.45 would have been nicer!
