I arrived a little late. Staff called to find out if I was still on the way and then waited for me. Very polite and cheerful. Was exhausted and had the best nights sleep I can remember, followed by an amazing cooked breakfast!
Very good location and attentive staff. Comfortable room, although very small. Good breakfast.
A bit expensive for the quality offered.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food and especially the breakfast was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The view from the window was a little disappointing as mostly a roof.
The staff was very friendly, the room very comfortable and very clean and the surroundings was lovely. We enjoyed our stay with 2 kids and 2 dogs. The breakfast was delicious.
The two young people who were doing everything were very good and nothing was a problem to them
The en-suite was very small. Not much space to get in between the door and washbasin (and we are slim). The window had clear glass rather than opaque and although there was a blind it did not cover the window properly. The recessed lights did not appear to have the correct IP rating for a bathroom (this should be checked by a qualified electrician)
Staff Value for money Location Service
We only stopped over here for one night .When I booked I was told we had the smallest room as that was the only room left. However ,the room was adequate ,very clean & comfy . A wee bit advice for anybody thinking of eating there. Don't have a starter as the main dishes are huge .Food fantastic.
Cant think of anything negative to say about this hotel
Great value. Great pub food. Nice room. Friendly staff. Lovely views in a beautiful location.
No mattress protector.
fag ends on the roof outside my room window
Great view of the loch (Room 5). Friendly staff. Good food in bar/restaurant. Comfortable beds, and the third for our adult son was almost a separate room, not just a crowded triple. Our little dog always welcome even in restaurant. Excellent location for visiting this part of the Highlands.
Breakfast finished at 9.15; we are lazy on holiday and until 9.45 would have been nicer!
meals were good nice hot showers staff super
meals over priced shower needed unblocked there was a damp smell in certain areas car park all gravel not good for bikes
Beautiful location, ideal for an overnight stop on our travels. Very nice staff and very enjoyable breakfast.
The room was quite small, it was comfortable for a one night stay but maybe not ideal for a longer stay. Completely acceptable for the price of the room. Shame that we could not see the amazing views from the bar garden.
+ The real vintage hotel in the Scotland!!! + Good breakfast!
- Too short stay
Beautiful scenery outside. Very enjoyable breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff extremely helpful. Excellent value for money.
Pet friendly also!
Beautiful location, attractive and comfortable room, friendly local people in the bar, excellent food, staff superb. Walk down to the loch is lovely - perfect stopover on our way up to the Orkneys.
Staff were delightful, young couple from Bulgaria who were friendly, polite and helpful and very hardworking it appeared. Food was delicious, fresh, flavoursome and generous portions. Ideal for the hungry traveller. Varied and interesting dishes on the menu. Spotlessly clean. Spa bath a bonus.
Location slightly deceptive due to clever camera angles but then who doesnt do that... I thought we would be sitting on the decked veranda watching the fish swim by in the water but a small thing given everything else was fantastic.
the staff were very polite and helpful particularly George who was very friendly and welcoming. the rooms were clean and comfy and the scenery from our room was breath taking! The real bonus for us was the fact that they were pet friendly and we were able to have our very well behaved poodle by our side at all times during our stay. Food was delicious. Compliments to the chef
Nothing. Just leaving!!
A member of staff waited up to meet us even though we weren't arriving until 1am. Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful views across Loch Tay
