the friendly atmosphere - nothing was too much of a problem for th e satff - the food was EXCELLENT and the overall experience was WONDERFUL. We travelled with a dog and he got loads of postive attention from the staff

The food was excellent, barman/waiter Henry was great Bed was too small for a couple in room 3. The ceiling had a big crack, also holes in wall, shower was good, but bathroom was very small

Quirky, countryside inn in great location. There has been a bit of effort to make the bedroom attractive and welcoming. The views over the loch are great. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. No proper shower - it had a shower hose tap but no enclosure. The bathroom generally needs a bit of an upgrade. There was a bit of a sing song late on Saturday night which kept us awake.

Staff were excellent, dog friendly.Food good. Lots of cosmetic touches need to be attended to. Carpets , floorboards loose , shaving light not working, little touches make all the difference.

The staff were very friendly, child friendly with games & a pool table. enjoyed the breakfast on the first morning, but was disappointed with the lack of supplies for the vegetarian sausages and for the chipolata sausages served on our plate instead of real proper sausages The double bed and the bunk beds were so uncomfortable that the whole family couldnt have a proper sleep on our first night. In the morning we discovered that the mattress was very old and stained, the staff changed the mattress for us but that didn't make any difference to provide us with a comfortable sleep and rest.

We had a fantastic stay at Ben Lawers. The location is truly wonderful, the food excellent and staff were fantastic. Special mention for Michael...It really is a small world!! Nothing at all

The staff and service in this little hotel couldn't have been better. The bar area was so comfortable and welcoming that we ate dinner there too and were really glad we did. The food was fabulous! Breakfast was excellent too. The only downside of this fantastic hotel was slight wear and tear in the room but this didn't detract from a great stay.

we liked the ben lawers hotel it was a small hotel and we where made to feel very welcome on arrival by the staff on duty. we had dinner in the resturant and the food was first class and cooked to perfection,we where left to relax in the resturant after our meal, the staff have a very good local knowledge and where happy to share there knowledge with us, the bar had some locals in for a drink and they where also very frendily, overall a lovely hotel with lovely staff and great food. we will be back soon.

They were very friendly. Helpful and cheery Not really, but more hangers in wardrobe, hooks on back of door to hang clothes on, especially when coming back from a wet hill climb there was no real place to hang one's clothes.

Lovely wee place, friendly staff. The room was just right, fantastic for the cost. We had dinner which was tremendous. The welcome could have been slightly better, waited 3-4 minutes for someone to come.
