Travelling alone is always a little awkward. I never felt this at all. It was easy going very friendly and great value for money. Location was great, food fab and lovely staff. Will definitely recommend it and will most certainly stay again.
Rooms and facilities need a facelift.
All in All a good stay was had by all. It gives you all you need and value for money. Will stay again for sure .
Extra pillows kept in under bed draw, no pillow cases, only pillow protector with hair on it. Shower cubicle had black mould, and bathroom desperately needs referbishment.
Cosy little lodges just a stones throw from the main bar / restaurant, plenty of parking, friendly staff, lovely home cooked meals. Would definitely go back, loved our short break here, ideal location to explore Loch Lomond and the trossachs.
Great food, friendly staff, pet friendly and good location for touring
very friendly staff, good singalong in the evening too!
shower needed an upgrade, but it was clean and tidy.
A really pleasant stay for three nights, good food, comfortable lodges and the staff very friendly, enjoyable evenings listening and singing along to the music.
staff very helpful indeed
television gave a piercing pitched noise whilst operating
Friendliness of most of staff especially owner. Entertainment. Good quality and value food. Excellent location for West Highland Way.
Size of Lodges/Room Lack of privacy due to paper thin walls.
The guy who sang in the bar at night was brilliant. It created a great atmosphere. And the staff were all very welcoming.
It's a pet friendly place so lots of pet hair in rooms but didn't spoil our stay.
Did not expect such a nice meal, all enjoyed the lodge and we were sorry the visit was not for longer!
Great Food Helpful staff Private lodge worked well for family of 4 folk band in evening was fun
decor a little tired in main building corner shower cubicle awkward
food was ok and breakfast was included, nice parking space
the room was smelly, the shower dirty, heating system a bit dodgy
Liked the individual chalets
Outside seating on private veranda, excellent breakfast, next door totraditional pub with good food.
Small and tired
Convenient but basic accommodation.
Taped up electrical cables to the heater lying on the shower room floor. Decking bending when you walk on it and feeling unsafe. Overall poorly maintained and run down. No wi-fi in the rooms
Good location near main road junction and close to rest of village and great walks. Good bar and restaurant. Eevning meal and breakfast both very good. Cabin had nice verandah
Cabin was very small and not well insulated from noise. Small shower room.
Friendly staff, good food, cosy lodge, decent price, good location for overnight stop on way to Hebrides.
Bed just a bit hard for me, a common problem, I've had far worse!
Good location in the Highlands. Good breakfast. The pub has a very intimate, fun feel in the evenings when musicians play for guests. My kids loved this: they had never experienced a local pub with music before.
beds for the family room for the kids were in a very small area. very small shower. Service for lunch was very slow.
The lodges are cute and cosy. Good food at reasonable prices in the restaurant. Breakfast was lovely.
Ian the owner was very friendly and very good host.
Room, cabin with double bed, single too. En Suite Toilet and Shower. Bar food excellent, beer lovely, food great but the staff were so friendly. Loved the place. Real atmosphere
Atmosphere in the Tavern, Scottish music and sing a long.
Staff generally were 'bored' with rarely a smile except for the maintenance gent who sorted th TV . Staff should be reminded who pays their wages
Staff indifference, although service executed well enough they appeared bored
