“ The friendliness of all the staff, was well appreciated as I was travelling alone. Meals were great. Value for money, with that Scottish good humour an extra. Thanks Ian and all the staff & permanent dwellers of the Benmore Lodge. ”

I liked the fact it was a lodge with my own door going out onto a small verandah. I had my dog with me and this was great for her to get out and in. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, also very dog friendly and made a fuss of Molly. Ian made sure we were happy with everything. We were there to cheer on the family members running in the Highland Fling and the location was perfect. We had a meal in the restaurant at night and all 8 of us enjoyed it. Dogs were allowed into the bar area which would be a bonus for many travellers. Breakfast was also excellent. Free wifi in the bar/restaurant was good because there was no signal in the lodges. The lodges were also nice and warm. Due to the location, the mobile network signal was very poor. Obviously no fault of the Ben More, just the Monroes surrounding it.

The location was superb in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful with things like weather reports. The room was fine for me as a single man but would be very cramped for a couple.

The welcome and hospitality grom the owners and staff are second to none. If you don't want to take my word for it, check out the comments left in the bar. The complimentary full Scottish breakfast was huge anditwas never too much trouble to exchange an item for something else. I was a bit worried that the cabin might be cold seeing as we were visiting in early January - I had no need to worry. It was lovely and toasty throughout the entire stay. Even though the Lodge had few guests when we stayed, they still put on live entertainment (funny bloke with a guitar). All in all, it's a great reasonably priced place to stay with easy access to the village and beyond. Nothing.
