The entertainment. The value for money deal (bed and breakfast). The log cabin accommodation. The ease of access to the hills/forest tracks. Bar and restaurant on site. Log fire. Friendly staff. Homemade steak pie. Reasonable prices for beer and food.
Shower temperature fluctuated. You can hear everything from your neighbours either side.
Once again, never disappointed! Quiet, tranquil and staff are so friendly!
Good value. Travelling with baby, and got given slightly bigger room. Decent bar food.
Shower was temperamental.
I cant express how utterly amazed myself and my partner are with this gem! Firstly, the cost, its a steal for what you get! A small lodge all to yourself, plenty of storage, very warm and cosy, nice little private bathroom and shower, and sky tv! The food is outstanding, and we were thinking that we would be stung on bar prices... WRONG! Reasonable, and plentiful :) Great entertainment, FREE wifi in the bar and a pool table at 50p a game... I bloody love this place! So much so, my partner and I have booked in every Saturday for the next 3 weeks :) Great place to stay if your off skiing at Glencoe! The staff are friendly and make such an effort!!!
Had to snow shovel the car parking space ourselves and there was no grit
Lovely warm room
Television did not work
The staff were really friendly and genuinely concerned that we had a good stay both in Benmore Lodge and in Scotland as a whole.
There was a really loud 80s and 90s (Spice Girls, Cher etc.) compilation played both at night in the pub and at breakfast time; the lodge had a forgotten air about it - we found a bag of rotting rubbish in the cupboard, the shower was blocked and the linen had a musty smell. A real pity.
The extra bed made up as a sofa.
The very narrow space to get in and out of bed
Friendly staff. Dog friendly which helped with the relaxation of our stay. Been before and will be back.
Waitress on the Saturday morning hanging around the bar and chatting about herself as we had breakfast.
Had a great wee night
fit for purpose
location : friendly staff : food : accomodation ; excellent
one problem only couldnt get the hot water on shower to take a shower tells you to pull cord above cistern but no cord there
Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. The mince and tatties were the best I'd had since I was a young boy !!
Nothing. Every thing was great.
Friendly staff and very helpful. Welcoming bar area and the food good.
Rooms in need of renovation.
All of it, we only stayed one night but it was enough to want to return for a longer visit .The haggis, neeps and tatties in the whisky sauce are to die for and need trying by every-one. Staff are great and make you feel at home straight away.
we found Ben more lodge to be cosy and exactly what we enjoy about holidaying in the highlands of Scotland, the staff were friendly and helpful
The friendly staff. The location and the great food at good prices.
Good fun in the evening. Plenty of people to share stories with and great value.
Staff were lovely ... Bar area was welcoming
Location, value for money, great food, relaxed atmosphere
Soundproofing could be better - very loud snorer next door!
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Cosy bar area. Felt very comfortable there.
Cabins were very small
Lovely location Great Food Very Dog Friendly Nice Location Lodges very clean and comfortable
nice food, friendly staff
Bit like sleeping in a garden shed and definitely needs some sound proofing!
Very friendly staff & excellent food.Lodges were compact but comfortable.Good parking adjacent to lodge.
The lodges were nice and had everything you need for a stop over on route to the Highlands the staff were very friendly in the bar and the food was good quality. There was a guy playing a bit of music which was a nice touch.
The carpets in the lodge were well used and may have been clean but looked stained and dirty. Given the location and the type of surrounding terrain might be an impossible task to keep imaculate carpets but it's not a big issue.
Great overnite stop very friendly staff good food
