Fantastic value for money, incredibly friendly and welcoming and an amazing breakfast!

The warm atmoshpere. The very polite and friendly hosts always willing to help and offer advice on the area. The great food and service too. I wouldn't hesitate on staying there again if i am in the area. Great value for your money !!

Breakfast a bit basic; 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, half a tomato, half a slice of fried bread, a few beans and 1 small mushroom. Cleanliness could be better, very obvious signs of some areas that had not been dusted for some time; back of TV, top of headboard and shelving etc.

Fantastic hosts. Perfect location. Within walking distance of all the local stuff. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast that kept us going throughout the day.

Peter & Lynn are great hosts !! Good room, little pitty we had no bathroom & wc on the room.

the owners were nice and helpfull good to talk too and enjoyed the breakfast the room was nice too the only unfortunate thing was being next to the public toilet. i had my own ensuite room i could hear people going during the night i know it couldnt be helped there was plenty of tea and sugar i enjoyed sitting in bar talking to other residents an all in all good experiance. and value for money lynn was very understanding as im unemployed and she let me pay it as my money came in

In an excellent location with its own off road parking facilities. The owners were a lovely couple who made us feel most welcome. Didn't try the full English breakfast ourselves, but it certainly looked very good! Would definitely return again.

A very friendly, family run guest house. Enquiries and requests for information were handled very comprehensively and promptly. Meal times were flexible (with notice) and breakfast was lovely. If I were to repeat my reason for visiting Paignton I would definitely stay again.

The plumbing on the top floor is a little on the noisy side (especially in the early hours!)

Good Welcome, nice room, big comfortable bed, went out of there way to be helpful and cover all needs.Looks similar to a hotel when you go inside. Nice big living room to use as well.Lovely view from our bedroom window.Small Bar as well.

There was a personal touch. It started with a welcome email just after booking. I was offered and made a nice cup of tea on arrival. All rooms had a nice teddy bear outside hanging from the door. I was offered extra coffee for breakfast. Breakfast itself was substantial. Special wishes were catered for. I paid £22 per night for a standard single room, which was upgraded free of charge to a double room. I do wonder how the owners can make any money out of this. There were even little toiletries included in the price (unlike Travelodge)

I knew beforehand that the room was not en-suite. Shower and toilet were just outside the room and were immaculately kept. Tea and coffee-making facilities were available. I would just say - and that is not specific to this guesthouse - that I do not like Nescafe as there are human rights concerns about the company Nestle.

This bright and attractive guest house is situated just a five minute walk from Paignton harbour and ideal for my two night stay. I received a warm welcome from Lynn, the proprietor, and my room was cosy and had a partial sea view. Breakfast was good and I would stay again, but in an en suite room!

I knew the room was not en suite, but had to go down a flight of stairs to the shower, which was often occupied. I tried to use an alternative shower cubicle, but it ran cold. Toilet was adjacent to my room which was fine, but the hot tap did not work on the washbasin in my room.

Ausserordentlich freundliche Betreuung durch die Leiter des Guest Houses! Während unseres Aufenthalts war das Wetter sehr schlecht, Lynn hat uns aber immer wieder beraten, was wir trotz des Wetters unternehmen könnten. Wir erhielten viele gute Tipps von ihr. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt sehr. Das englische Frühstück war sehr gut!

Owners very attentive to our needs , nice dining room and lounge , room cleaned and bed made every day . Very happy with our stay , would stay there again , very nice friendly hosts . Located close to harbour .

Couldn't really find fault .
