Score from 79 reviews Very good
Owner was very welcoming and can tell has a passion for her business. Stunning views from bedrooms 1 and 2. Breakfast was well set out. Gardens were amazing
Rooms could be doing with tea/coffee items. They are in the lounge but would have been nice to have in room. Some cleaning issues but nothing major
E loved the house and the gardens. The sunroom was lovely. The staff was excellent.
We would of liked to have a way to make a coffee or tea in our room and perhaps some wine glasses to relax with a glass of wine in our lovely room.
A beautiful building in lovely grounds. The staff were very friendly bag the room was spacious and clean. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.
Decor a bit dated but clean and comfortable.
the setting of the house in its garden with the views of the river and hills are exceptional.the house was nice and warm, plenty hot water, very nice breakfast with a good selection of choices . lots of rooms to relax in if weather is not so good the staff were first class. we will certainly be back here to stay when we come to pitlochry theatre. plenty parking spaces. drive in one .gate drive out the other. no problem
Lovely rural setting, peaceful small village town, charming mix of 19th century and 80s vintage interior. Bendarroch house with its quirky blend of romantic flower tapestry, hunting trofees, old family heirlomes and genuine welcoming approach towards the visitors was the highlight of our vacation. Nothing fancy but a lot of soul. Nice golf course close by.
Water pressure was'nt great but that's not unusual in the countryside.
we both love the area so nice and peacefull lots of good walks to go on and not to far away from Aberfeldy or Pitlochry.
we can definatly say we haven.t found anything that we did,nt like.
We Loved the house, the garden, the staff, the breakfast and OMG the beds and comforters were like sleeping in a cloud.
That we only stayed one night.
The spectacular location, the discreet, helpful staff, the unstinting hospitality including excellent breakfast, the large house with spacious rooms, quality furniture and all the attributes of a comfortable Scottish family home. Selection of quality living spaces - hardly saw other guests.
The shower was a bit cramped and the waterflow weak - a trivial grumble in the context of a modestly priced very special B & B experience. Inconsequential.
view and garden
stuffed animals/birds on walls
The house was lovely. Very pretty location
Hard bed, hairball in sheets
Run by efficient but impersonal staff
would have liked a tv set and a teamaker in the room.
It was truly a delight to stay here. The house was beautiful and the room was very pretty and quaint. The breakfast was excellent (can recommend the kippers!). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds and surrounding area were very picturesque. Would definitely recommend this to friends and relatives.
Checking out! Two slight drawbacks were not having a TV in the room. There was a TV room downstairs. The facilities for making tea/coffee were downstairs in the conservatory and not in the room.
Lovely setting and views . Breakfast was excellent
Beds were too soft, routine was perhaps a bit too regimented
Loved the character of the old property. We didn't mind there being no TV in the room as it didn't really fit in with the style. Options available to view TV in e conservatory or one of the reception rooms.
It would have been nice to have the option of tea making facilities in the room, or even a couple of glasses to be able to have some water.
Beautiful gardens and house. Most comfortable beds you will ever find!
An idyllic country house situated in a beautiful secluded valley with a raging whitewater river. A most engaging host.
Location and character
Bed too soft
Guest house was in a beautiful location and allowed easy access by car around the surrounding area. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Will certainly return to Bendarroch House when visiting this lovely area in the future.
Ambience and relaxing atmosphere. First class service and comfort
Only small point is that parking was very tight
House was pleasant Breakfast good
Directions to house too sketchy Info at arrival poor;nothing written out;no easy way to communicate with staff;not given info for wifi access;no soap in shower container
Super house (castle ?) with a lot of charm, super calm and cosy. Staff super friendly. Had a very enjoyable experience. A very good restaurant available at 2min walk. Seriously, perfect !
Beautiful house - nice and clean. Two restaraunts nearby. Very friendly staff.Tasty breakfast.
Room, decor, surroundings, breakfast, staff - in short, everything!
