the charm of the old house , bedroom was huge bed was so comfy, staff were lovely we were only ones booked in so had whole house to ourselfs .
no tv in bedroom you had to use living room which was great as we were only couple there had there been others i prob woud,nt have went down.
Location, staff, old world comfort, Breakfast. relaxing environment serviced by friendly and effecient staff, a wonderful 5 days, wish it could have been longer but will definitely stay here again.
Everything was perfect
it's a super nice place, we loved everything: the rooms, the bathroom, the surroundings, the town. sadly we overslept so we couldn't enjoy that breakfast that was surely awesome as well.
fascinating experience like going back in time and being privileged to stay in such a wonderful house. We will be back! The staff are a treasure.
absolutely nothing to complain about.
Breakfast was excellent; staff very friendly and welcoming; close to golf course and walks. A stunning property.
Lovely old Victorian House. Original oil paintings adorn the walls. Bed was by far the comfiest I think I've been in and room was nice and warm. Good wi-fi connection in room and wasn't bothered that there was no TV or tea/coffee making facilities in room. There is a communal living room on the ground floor with TV and a 'reading room' next door where you can make your own hot drinks and eat custard creams from the biscuit jar. Breakfast was excellent. Location was just fine, only about a 10-15 minute drive from Pitlochry and there was a small village a short walk away across the river with some shops and a couple of pubs. Would stay again no question.
I thought the lack of TV in my bedroom would be missed but it wasn't. A good promotion for book reading instead!
Wonderful. One of best B&B i' ve been ever! We' ll come back
The house is set in 4 acres of garden by a rushing stream the interior is charming and while the claim is refurbished to the highest standard in reality what I liked wS the fact it wasn't and felt like a well loved in property full of family mentors and antique furniture. I stayed in the small single room where there was crinkled carpet with rough salvaged edges which was a bit shabby but otherwise comfortable
There were no fires in the downstairs lounge rooms so it was freezing in november
Warm welcome, excellent choice for breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely communal rooms and attractive bedroom. House and views are stunning.
No kettle in room, although tea and coffee lounge available.
Beautiful setting. Full of character.
Arrive in the daylight, not easy to find in the dark! Not in Pitlochry, although that is address.
No kettle or TV in your room. Wifi a bit hit and miss
comfort and charm of house
Tea facility in lounge
Comfortable enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast with friendly helpful staff.
Loved the setting and decor of the house and rooms. Plenty of space in room and additional rooms to relax in.
Welcoming atmosphere.Peaceful looking out onto garden even saw a Red squirrel.Comfy bed andexcellent selection for breakfast. Will return in spring .
As i was using public transport and had to walk down over the bridge to go for evening meal ,it was really dark, bit scary as no light shining at bridge. Not Bendarrochs fault.
- Very nice and welcoming staff - Good breakfast - Nice lounge areas to relax - Single room seemed recently renewed - Very nice looking building - Decent Wifi
- Not a negative(!), but all other guests were from Germany for some reason :)
Owner was very welcoming and can tell has a passion for her business. Stunning views from bedrooms 1 and 2. Breakfast was well set out. Gardens were amazing
Rooms could be doing with tea/coffee items. They are in the lounge but would have been nice to have in room. Some cleaning issues but nothing major
E loved the house and the gardens. The sunroom was lovely. The staff was excellent.
We would of liked to have a way to make a coffee or tea in our room and perhaps some wine glasses to relax with a glass of wine in our lovely room.
A beautiful building in lovely grounds. The staff were very friendly bag the room was spacious and clean. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.
Decor a bit dated but clean and comfortable.
the setting of the house in its garden with the views of the river and hills are exceptional.the house was nice and warm, plenty hot water, very nice breakfast with a good selection of choices . lots of rooms to relax in if weather is not so good the staff were first class. we will certainly be back here to stay when we come to pitlochry theatre. plenty parking spaces. drive in one .gate drive out the other. no problem
Lovely rural setting, peaceful small village town, charming mix of 19th century and 80s vintage interior. Bendarroch house with its quirky blend of romantic flower tapestry, hunting trofees, old family heirlomes and genuine welcoming approach towards the visitors was the highlight of our vacation. Nothing fancy but a lot of soul. Nice golf course close by.
Water pressure was'nt great but that's not unusual in the countryside.
we both love the area so nice and peacefull lots of good walks to go on and not to far away from Aberfeldy or Pitlochry.
we can definatly say we haven.t found anything that we did,nt like.
We Loved the house, the garden, the staff, the breakfast and OMG the beds and comforters were like sleeping in a cloud.
That we only stayed one night.
The spectacular location, the discreet, helpful staff, the unstinting hospitality including excellent breakfast, the large house with spacious rooms, quality furniture and all the attributes of a comfortable Scottish family home. Selection of quality living spaces - hardly saw other guests.
The shower was a bit cramped and the waterflow weak - a trivial grumble in the context of a modestly priced very special B & B experience. Inconsequential.
