Ambience and relaxing atmosphere. First class service and comfort
Only small point is that parking was very tight
House was pleasant Breakfast good
Directions to house too sketchy Info at arrival poor;nothing written out;no easy way to communicate with staff;not given info for wifi access;no soap in shower container
Super house (castle ?) with a lot of charm, super calm and cosy. Staff super friendly. Had a very enjoyable experience. A very good restaurant available at 2min walk. Seriously, perfect !
Room, decor, surroundings, breakfast, staff - in short, everything!
The old castle type house is wonderful

No evening food
Nice tranquil setting wi-fi their if needed no televison in the rooms which we liked. Staff very friendly and helpful this is our 3rd time and booked our 4th and 5th dates for this year.
Everything was great!
Lovely old property in quiet setting. Room wa very comfortable and well provisioned.
Atmosphere and character. Spaciious conservatory and TV lounge.Splendid Inn for food nearby.
Poor coffee and tea at breakfast.Insipid.
The beautiful setting and outside appearance. The high beds, views from the windows, space and decor.
No tea/ coffee facilities in bedroom.
This place is really something else! A wonderful vitorian house hidden in the wood that comes out of a fantasy tale. It looks to be transported into a different century. The price is very good and we really enjoyed both the room and the food.
Victorian house with an atmosphere of elegancy and history, with a splendid view from the garden over the valley, and a friendly staff
The wardrobe The old granduer
The old granduer was a little too tired
Friendly. Nice conservatory to relax in. Good, prompt breakfast.
Beds a little soft. A little hard to find for unfamiliar travellers.
I loved Bendarroch House and I felt very much as though I was staying in a castle. Superb views out of large windows (saw a pheasant strutting below when I first looked out). Wonderful public rooms-especially liked the conservatory. Thought the short walk across the bridge to the restaurant along the river was delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return to explore some more.
If you want to be isolated and live in a grand old home then Bendaroch is fine. We asked Booking.com for a hotel within 1 mile of Pitlochry. This one is 10 miles away and we are unlikely to book through them again.
Having to make tea and watch TV in public rooms. Bed mattress was ancient and too soft. No information about what was within walking distance. (Little information generally). Being held hostage to the few, overpriced, hostelries within walking distance.
WOW Beautifully maintained and decorated Victorian residence and gardens A glimpse of another life Great breakfast with friendly efficient staff. In Australia, this standard of house would be a museum with the rooms roped off but we got to sleep in the beds and everything!!
No lift and that didn't really worry us. We had to go home :(
Every thing was of good quality and value
Car parking not the best
Gorgeous location on the river with pretty gardens. Nice walks in the area. Lovely home, very comfortable.
Minimal interaction with staff
The location is stunning, set in picturesque Perthshire countryside right by the river Tay. The 4 downstairs rooms are beautiful (dining room, large conservatory, TV room and lounge) and extremely peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and the best bacon we have ever tasted!
No hot water in the morning, but this was unfortunately due to a plumbing issue and we were offered 20% discount for the inconvenience which was reasonable and kindly accepted. The beds are old and very soft mattresses, think it's time to replace them!
Have stayed there before and have booked again for this year lovely place to stay nice and quite and relaxing.
