Bennachie Lodge Hotel  

Super friendly staff, good food, good size well kept garden, easy parking, good location.

The local man sat at the bar, getting annoyed with his female partner and letting everyone in the bar (including three elderly people) know about it. Not the staffs problem, but off putting all the same.

Food was excellent,both evening meal and breakfast, you won't leave hungry that's for sure. bedroom is a good size and very cosy

Great hotel Friendly staff

The hotel was nice and warm and our room was very comfortable. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant in the evening served by a delightful waitress. Lovely location with beautiful garden. Better than we were expecting.

No reception area - unsure which door to enter from outside.

The staff were fantastic, very welcoming. The rooms were lovely, warm and plenty hot water. We ate in the hotels busy restaurant, the food was first class! They use alot of local produce and portion sizes are generous. We will definately be returning to Bennachie Lodge.

Had a really good room and the food quality and quantity is good.

The hotel ran out of Stella Lager on the 4th March and wasn't replenished till the 8th March. The male staff were attentive did not go out of their way to be welcoming or friendly.

The pleasant manner in which we were treated, the food was good, the room was clean and the water was wonderfully hot, so a nice long bath after a difficult day was so appreciated. This was a one night stay but I certainly would return, and spend more time there. Really impressed, just wish we'd found it sooner. There is a real personal touch at the Bannachie Lodge Hotel, without intrusion. So appreciated.

The hotel is well presented ample free parking lit by security lighting entrance to the hotel is via the lounge bar were I had a friendly welcome from the propiter the room I was allocated was an attic room with sloping ceilings not always the best but the room was large plenty room to move about without bumping your head the room was very comfortable ensuite was a bit small complentry shower gel and soap plenty towels iron board and iron mini fridge very comfortable bed nice warm room free wifi in the room unlike other hotels who charge an over the top rate for wi fi The cooked breakfast was very good good coffee other options avaliable and very good value unlike most hotels in Aberdeen that feel the need to over charge for there rooms and cannot justify the increased tarriff offering in return to there guests very poor quality being offered in return

The only thing I would say about the room was me being a big guy the ensuite was to small for me

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped in the door. Our room was spacious tastefully decorated warm and well serviced.The bed was comfortable and bathroom was also warm with lovely toiletries and white fluffy towels. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts' were brilliant cooked to order with lot's of choice. The porridge was really good and hot ! served with cream. This lovely old manse is a hidden gem nestling in the village of Kemnay. We stayed two nights as we were going to a wedding in the area.I would have no hesitation in recommending this lodge to other travellers.

Easy access, good parking - friendly staff. My room had a very good and efficient shower.

This room had no wardrobe or any clothes-hanging facililties of any kind! The bed had an old and much too worn mattress. The tv was far too small to be of any use. Only one uncomfortable dinningroom type chair - an easychair would have been nice.
