We chose the hotel both for the location as we wanted to climb Ben Nevis (which we did) also for the facilities as we thought it would be so relaxing using the pool and spa etc after our hard climb.

We have stayed here many times because of the gym and swimming pool and the rest of the leisure club facilities ( the smimming pool is one of the best we've used on our travels staying at many hotels with similar facilities). The staff have always been very helpful and the various rooms we have stayed in have always been comfortable, clean and tidy. The distance from the Hotel to the Town centre is just a nice relaxed walking distance. As always we were spoiled for choice at breakfast. We have another stay booked for next month. Poor television equipment, channel choice and quality of picture.

Location and sports centre; one of the best we have been to recently Their business is dominated by coach tours and rack rate guests are treated as an unwanted diversion from their main business.

Breakfast Buffet was one of the best I have seen - good selection, well laid out, constantly topped up & checked, hot food was hot and cold food was cold and a great selection of both. Felt the rooms were not very well sound proofed - a lot of noise from corridors till very late and and again from before 7 in the morning. Also there was a noise from fan or air conditionong which came on intermittently and was quite loud.

What was not to like! The room was wonderful and very spacious. I particularly liked the complimentary water and chocolates - what a lovely touch. Breakfast was great and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Will definitely return.

Pool, Spa, good Bar, variety of breakfast, large room. Took long time (10-30 Minutes) untill you get seated for breakfast, specially after 8:30. Then it takes too long untill you get toasts and coffee. Breakfast bad organized, there were enough vacant tables. If they offer breakfast for so many people they should be able to handle it.

Spacious room, quite well equipped and comfy bed. Generally helpful and cheerful staff. Convenient bar and resturant facilities and parking. Quite peaceful despite on main road Good for a budget stopover. Decor a bit faded / dated. No other facilities / attractions adjacent and it is a mile or so along the main road to the town.

Nice hotel. Only £3.60 for a taxi into town, so central. It is walkable, but not in that weather! Staff were very nice, and got us a heater for the room when we said it was cold. Breakfast was great. Having to go outside to get to the leisure centre or breakfast room. Would like the walkway to be enclosed. Our room was cold, but we got a heater. Dog kept barking in opposite room and fire door outside room 310 slammed shut every time someone used it and kept wakening us up!

The hotel was warm and cosy, the christmas decorations were lovely! the free wi fi was handy. The hotel food was reasonable (£15 for 3 courses) the bar could do with more of a reasonable bar food choice. The pool was heaven!! the bar could do with a beter choice and price for bar meals.

The bar was lovely for an evening meal, the room was generally nice, there was a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and polite. The pool and changing facilities were nice too. We stayed in a family room on the corner of the building. The first night it was very windy and it was coming right in through the windows so the room was freezing. New windows required! The second night was not windy and the room was quite cozy.
