My checking out time was extended on my final day to allow me time to climb Ben Nevis and still have a shower in my room before leaving that afternoon - all at no extra cost. As a base for hill walking and climbing its fab! Small point but TV reception was bad. |

The leisure facilities were excellent. The pool area was spotless and although didn't use the gym the equipment looked very good. Bathrooms could do with a bit updating. |

The room allocated was very warm and noisy. I think this was it was above kitchen and received the heat and noise from the extractor fans. |

The staff were friendly & it had a place for walking dogs nearby. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room carpet was dirty. There was an incomplete tea tray. The TV reception was poor, unable to watch several stations despite trying to fine tune it. The shower head was filthy & was the wrong one for the shower holder so did not stay on the wall when in use. The cooked breakfast was left under the heat lamps for too long and as a result the food was dry & hard. |

I am afraid to say that we did not like anything about this hotel apart from its location (in the west highlands) and that the staff were reasonably friendly and helpful. What hit us on arrival was the shabby decor throughout and strong stale smell especially in the corridors. Next was the unsightly stains on most of the seats in the dining room. We also did not expect the daily busloads of tourists who spent one night there before moving on, making any access to a comfortable seat in the lounge bar in the evening impossible. The hotel seemed to prioritise this type of custom. One final observation: I have never seen insect traps under the beds in a hotel before. The good news is no insects were trapped during our stay - or is that bad news? |

Food was acceptable. Room not been serviced, The length of time it took for this to be rectified and the water leak from the ceiling in the dining room during breakfast. |

Good leisure club facilities. Breakfast was very nice. Majority of staff very polite and helpful. The young girl at the reception desk in the swimming pool lacked communication skills. |
