Excellent,

“ Benton's is a really good place handy for the City center, theatre, pubs, restaurants, bus station, etc. Breakfast is very good in the nice light dining room with plenty of tea or coffee. Comfortable bed, not noises for a city center location. ”

Although the host's English is not so good, he is so welcoming and tries his best to serve guests' needs. The room is tiny and lovely. Strongly recomend the Spanish style breakfast. The pillow in my room is not very comfortable.

Nice rooms in lovely town centre building, very close to everything Cheltenham has to offer. Andres was very pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. Great breakfast also. Excellent nights stay. Would recommend. Only possible negative I could offer would be the shared bathroom and shower, but as was only staying for one night this wasn't much of an issue either!

Our host Andreas was excellent, could not do enough for you, and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was very good, plenty of it along with continental option if required, nothing was too much trouble, we would defiantely stay here again. Lock on bedroom door had slipped so struggled to gain access to our room, Andreas had the knack and pretty much opened it first time.

I arrived, they told me they had fully booked so I have to leave (even though I booked 3weeks in advance). He then realised he'd got it all wrong. The guest house smelt strong of cigarette aroma. The owners couldn't speak much English and were in their pjs all the time.... Which I didn't find professional, or inviting. The room was right next to a loud road so I couldn't sleep at all. The best was extremely uncomfy.

I was surprised when i arrived at the Hotel. My room was exceptionally clean, the decor pleasing to the eye and the bed very comfortable. The man running the hotel was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast (included) was very good. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from Cheltenham centre. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely people. very clean and tidy. Great breakfast on the whole very nice The road outside is a main road and if you are a light sleeper, which I can be, it was noisey. Not their fault, but a fact you need to know.

Located right next to the city centre. Friendly staff. Full breakfast with all the trimmings. Good rate compared to hotels. It was a little noisy during the night as my room was above the front door and next to the road. So light sleepers should avoid this room if possible. But the room was clean and comfortable.

A very helpful and friendly atmosphere. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe staying at this very clean, quiet and quite central B&B. Breakfast was very nice with 'real' coffee!! Thank you. The parking in general is a problem in Cheltenham so I cannot blame the B&B for the parking situation.

Good location Good value Good service - early breakfast provided Quiet room Car-parking - free only at night from 8.00pm. Plumbing - plug mechanism of basin not working. No instant coffee supplied with kettle, - only ready-sweetened granules with dried creamer available - yuk! Couldn't work the TV.

Friendly staff and accommodating as they let me have a very late breakfast where most hotels would have closed. Nothing but there is an issue with no off street parking and Cheltenham has street after street of parking meters with only a 2 hour stay. Between 6pm to 8pm it is free but in my opinion this doesn't help the economy of the town, just another way of taxing people who have already payed to use the roads and who have payed their local taxes.... Drives me mad (apologies for off topic)

New owner since roughly the beginning of 2012. People fairly new to the business but you would never say for the passion and friendliness they show. Incredible cleanliness. A wonderful stay which I'm looking forward to repeat soon. Matteo

The management are new and are extremely pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. An excellent cooked breakfast was provided. We would recommend this little Guest House for anyone wishing to visit Cheltenham, both for its location and price.

Very accommodating to my inconvenient hours of arrival. Friendly and polite. Room and facitilies were clean and of a good standard. Communication in English was not easy for the proprietor, although he tried hard, and more than made up for linguistic difficulties with his polite and helpful manner.
