Overlooking Millennium Square, Ibis Bristol Centre is situated in Bristol’s vibrant Harbourside area. The modern hotel has a 24-hour front desk, a stylish bar and cafe restaurant.

Set above Avon Gorge, this hotel overlooks Brunel's famous suspension bridge. It has free parking and a large terrace for al fresco dining with excellent views.
Score from 681 reviews Very good
It has a compact, friendly feel. The rooms are well equipped even in smaller ways (sherry, real coffee, radio/CD player) and very usable. Great location.
The bathroom had a slightly dated feel. The room size is adequate rather than luxurious.
for some reason the hotel had a wedding reception held there on the sunday i stayed. the music was so loud that residents of the square were complaining as well as most of the hotel guests. the hotel agreed to re-fund some money to my account but did not honor that agreement.
Location. Friendly welcome at reception
Bedding (a hole in sheet) Stained carpet, Tiny bathroom. We had a business meeting in lounge but we kept getting disturbed by loud telephone conversations by staff (some sounded personal) at the table near bar which was very intrusive. Then groups of guests coming in passed us to collect their luggage in the storage area next to our seats. It felt like a railway station. A lot of young staff having loud conversations next to the coffee machine in the lounge. We would have been more comfortable at a Starbucks!
Location, the building, the staff were friendly
Location to the triangle Complimentary fruit
Bed not comfy and a bit noisy
The hotel was exactly what i needed for a single night stay and i will not hesitate to use it again in future
nothing negative to report
Convenient location for visiting the University of Bristol. Very efficient staff.
All fine but breakfast quite expensive.
Paper thin walls meant you could hear "everything" in the room next door. Single room was a single bed shoved right against the wall. Wifi at £2 an hour ? For the price paid it should be included. £70 for a single room that was pretty small and booked months in advance and £11 for breakfast was not good value in my opinion
Excellent staff Good restaurant and breakfast Comfortable room Garage parking availalble.
No water in the room but free sherry? No fresh milk in mini bar although advertised Noisy mini bar becomes irritating after a while. Lift blocked by laundry at check out time (in the morning) - not great.
Super friendly staff, walking distance to everything, good art, super comfy bed.
Despite friendly staff and good location, I actually wouldn't stay here again, just due to the noise and the hotel is more focused on their events than usual guests. If you are in town to party then the night noise won't bother you. If you want a good sleep then try staying further out of the centre of town. The hotel has a venue downstairs and Friday and Saturday night was noisy until 1am. Also, I couldn't use the common lounge area during the day as they had a wedding and it's a small place. Check with hotel before booking if they have a big event, as I found the event takes priority over regular customers needs.
Great location, good decor and furnishings, great car parking, good service.
Room rather cramped.
Convenient location, clean and comfortable, excellent welcome on arrival (Lotti)
Telly was stuck on a software download, but Lotti provided me with free wifi for the stay.
Great location near my office for a late-night work session
For the price, the quality of the room was appalling -- stains and patches on the carpeting, stains on the covers, stains on the curtains. The room just felt completely worn out.
Very comfortable room with excellent facilities. Nice outlook over the square. Convenient, user-friendly garage available for parking overnight at a reasonable rate. Well located for access to both Clifton area and city centre.
very nice location, pleasant room, complementary sherry
downstairs club can be noisy, bathroom was a bit dated, room tended to be very warm
Friendly and helpful staff Charming interior / decorations Complementary refreshments and fruit Great location
Temperatures in corridors and rooms were to high for my taste (kept my window wide open 24/7), but I got a sense that this was a common thing in the uk. Charging for WiFi and even then only handing out limited use logins is a dated principle. Trying to get work done this way was unpleasant.
Location is great. Staff are very helpful. Room was well equipped and very comfy. Bathroom was great. The square near it is perfect for morning walks.
It can get noisy late evenings because of the hotel's bar, but the noise always stops at 23:00. Wi-Fi should be free.
staff and location
lack of air in rooms
hot bath. room generally. view. extras like fruit and sherry. helpful receptionist.
useless fridge that pumped out heat into an already warm room. noise from wedding celebrations spilling out into street until 1.30 and then guests noise in corridor until 3am. no access to the bar, terrace or lounge because of wedding-so paying for facilities that weren't actually available.
Very convenient location for University departments. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast! Straightforward route to town centre
Alhough I slept fine, I can see that some rooms might be quite noisy either as close to the bar, or noise from outside.
The single room I stayed in was very comfortable and the atmosphere was welcoming. The location of the hotel is excellent; it is very close to the city centre and is very affordable.
One of the small ceiling lights was out of order in my room.
Good location, good service
It's not worth the money. We came 5 yrs ago and loved it but the rooms have not been updated since and now feel way past their best. Carpets and bathroom both stained. And the wifi costs a fortune.
the sound of mini bar is too loud
Function area and courtyard
Noisy deliveries early in the morning
