An excellent hotel within easy walking distance of Kings Cross. The room was very well equiped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The coffee machine was a very nice extra and the coffee was delicious. Hotel breakfast was very good and staff were very attentive - a definate repeat visit expected!!

Clean, convenient to Eurostar, nice sized room. Concierge was not well informed about plays, seating etc. Also when we asked for a taxi a non-indefinable taxi was called which charged $10 more than a black taxi on the return trip.

Good room Very poor service, as a result of the work going on to update the hotel. we arrived at 12.30, and ordered a meal with wine. Oh - no wine available! Nothing except the poor options in the room fridge. I asked for a bottle of wine at Reception - nothing doing - so I had to go out to Kings Cross (dangerous and cold) where a great shop provided us with drinks and snacks - which I took back to our room. A basic expectation of a hotel in a big city is that it can provide a bottle of wine after hours - as a result of this total failure by Novotel St Pancras we went elsewhere for breakfast.. Poor facilities, looks like you were willing to sacrifice good customer service for the convenience of having the hotel upgraded without informing customers of the low standards they would get. This was very obviously pure commercial greed, and the assumption that Ur customers wouldn't notice. Well we did, and we will AVOID Novotel in the future, cos U are obviously after a quick buck without caring about your customers. We have learnt a lesson and we won't be back again.

The location of this Hotel is great - just a few minutes walk from St Pancras Station. The staff were friendly and my room was great with plenty of space and a really comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again.

Elevators were fast. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was small. Construction ongoing but was not notified that it was going on when I booked. Breakfast buffet was too expensive. If it had been included in rate it might have been acceptable. Bathroom shower leaked all over the floor. Advised staff but no action taken.

We were merely overnighting in London so booked it mainly for its location next to St Pancras International though taking into account its star rating. And for the booking.com price However we were more than delighted with the reception we got - we'd booked "the last remaining superior twin room" (no doubles available) and on arrival were offered a double. The room layout as with all modern hotels but the room size was large and we were amazed at the comfort of the bed. It was also fairly quiet (it is London) and the windows opened. The fridge - stocked with non-alcoholic drinks (and a Mars Bar!) - was free. The bathroom was clean and the bath and shower system - a rainhead and a manual shower - worked properly. We went out immediately for dinner and left the next morning after only using the room tea/coffee etc tray so have no idea of the rest of the hotel's facilities or quality. And ps Our room through booking.com cost £115 whereas on the wall behind the welcome desk the price was shown as £275 so we were also delighted we'd used booking.com Only that we found the pillows too hard and large, and I used the wee cushion instead.

The location is extremely convenient, right next to the St. Pancras train station. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Love the shower but the bathroom is small but it is probably standard in London. The only complaint is that it is under construction so the smell of new carpet is strong in the room. There is no ramp for the lugguage to go up from the lobby to the elevator due to the construction. But overall it is a great place to stay and the most reasonable price around that area.

Convenience of its location near Euston Station. Comfortable room but see below. Extensive refurbishment works made the public areas and the restaurant dull, claustrophobic and unattractive. The bedroom contained no mirror at all. The only mirror was in the bathroom - hopeless for female guests in particular. The plug in the bathroom sink did not work so the sink could not be filled. No semi-skimed milk was provided - the only milk provided was full cream.

We loved how convenient the location is, it is about 5min walk from St. Pancras train station, you can go almost everywhere from there, be it Airport, or City Center. There is a Starbucks right across the street, and restaurants along the street. The hotel is equipped with modern facilities, room is very clean, bed is very comfortable. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price. Loved it! Have already referred to friends who will visit London in May.

Liked the room. Was clean and newly decorated. There was refurb going on in reception causing mess and noise. We had not been told of this before we booked. Would not have booked had we known. Should have been offered discount.

The main criteria for my stay was location as it is a stone throw from the train stations and just three stops from my head office I had a break in between stays and the policy not allowing extra luggages to be stored in the hotel is really inconvenient Hope there can be a review as my colleague who chose to stay with another was able to do so
