The Berry Hotel is a non-smoking hotel situated on the level just a short walk from the beach, stores, restaurants and evening entertainment. All bedrooms are non-smoking, have private bathrooms, TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the bright and spacious dining room. The hotel regrets that single sex parties, group bookings or children under age 5 years cannot be accommodated. Hotel Rooms: 14

The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and the location was great - 2 minutes from the beach and the same from the town centre. Highly recommended.

We arrived in the morning as we were getting the train to the Dartmouth Regatta and the staff were very helpful and let us park the car and check in early which was very much appreciated. Also, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent and the service at breakfast was very efficient. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend staying here.

The type of place that makes you feel at home. Well cooked breakfasts and a very helpful attitude. The room(no.12) was a quality room with space to spare. No bath but a good shower . Perhaps some would miss a bath although we had so much to do that we were time poor so a shower was just fine.

The staff could not have been more welcome. It was almost like staying with family friends although we've never been to Paignton before. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was comfotable and the breakfast plentiful

The friendly staff were exceptional. Everything that you needed was provided for. The room was lovely and breakfast was wonderful. Also as a single woman on her own I felt very comfortable and relaxed.

How very welcoming the owner was even though we were only staying 1 night, nothing was too much trouble. Even found us a restaurant using his own phone. I can't think of anything about the hotel I did not like and would defintely stay there again on a visit to Torbay.
