No wifi No hairdryer No robes

It is a comfortable well appointed pretty hotel where one feels safe and able to relax if alone.

The weather was exceptional for the time of year, on returning from Ascot Racw Course (the main reason for picking the Berystede, we sat outside on the terrace a great spot but because the tables were unlit we had to come inside to order and eat food. It would be simple matter tp wire up the tables and I'm sure this would pay big dividends.

The hotel restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful despite having to manage a large number of guests (David Jones, the manager was very accommodating and attentive). The quality of food was very good and represented value for money.

Unfortunately, orange juice not available for breakfast on second day and spa not available on first day of two day visit. Bed not particularly comfortable.

My partner found the room quite stuffy and his asthma was not too good in the night - this may be because at home we have wooden floors and have to wash the curtains often to deal with his breathing problems whereas the room has carpets and thick curtains which obviously attract dust. However, the room was very nicely decorated. We did find room service expensive - 2 burgers and a bottle of wine was £63.00 which is excessive.

Plenty of hot water. Breakfast cooked to order was very nice. Pool and steam rooms. Fancy bottle of water. Very nice bar meal with quick service. Easy access to Ascot. Early check in.

Slow check out due to small desk and only two staff (not the staff members problem).Had to park quite a distance from hotel. Bed was too hard.

Has the most wonderful spa / pool facilities and the bar menu was excellent.

All the staff were friendly but little chaotic.

The best part of stay was checking out!

The hotel was dated and scruffy. Customer service was poor.

The atmosphere and excitement of the Ascot weekend but above all the friendly staff. We were treated so pleasantly by everyone. Our evening meal was excellent and we enjoyed the live band so much on Saturday evening. A lovely weekend and we will return.

the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, greeted you with a smile and took the time out to make conversation.

We were there during Royal Ascot food prices in the bar were high and quality of food quite poor.

The hotel was very close to the activities that I had planned, and the leisure facilities were very good.

The quality of internet services was average to poor, and the amount of hot water in the shower was limited. There was a foul smell inside of the shower stall, and the cleanliness of the room was ok.

It was clean and tidy through out, staff friendly

The bed was well worn and both of us kept slipping into the middle of the mattress were it had a massive dip in it,The cleaners came in without knocking before 12 as we were still in there which i was not happy with.
