location lake of facalities room was cool no heating
Friendly, clean, comfortable & warm, with breakfast included - although we didn't have time for this as we got up late! But coffee & tea still available!!
It was the only available room to enable to be early for my next day appointment. The guys on reception were very helpful especially with the parking situation and offered to move my car from the yellow lines before the traffic wardens appeared. The hotel was clean and warm and for the price I got what I paid for.
Shared bathrooms. In the room was a sink unit which had extremely hot water but no plug . No kettle No wardrobe or draw. The street seemed to be jam packed with work mans vans which made parking awkward. .
Unlimited hot drinks and the shower and close to town and trains to london would go there again as a couple but wouldnt go with my children
The breakfast expected a better breakfast like bacon and mushrooms included and first morning cups were dirty however did improve parking was sometimes was a pain if we came back late but staff did help sort it out so we could park
The staff were clingy and came nocking on my door wondering if I wanted them too show me around town or have a drink with them at their place. NOT recomending this for single traveling girls!!!
I am a disabled person and I was given a room on the ground floor with en-suite facilities even though I had booked a room sharing a bathroom. I was not charged any extra either. Bed was clean and comfortable
Tea making facilities were not in the room. Having said that they were just outside the door in the corridor The room was not serviced at any time during my three night stay
I did not want to have breakfast but no such option in proposed rates was found during hotel booking action.
very nice staff good TV bed was comfortable price was okay could have been cheaper for what you was getting to be honest
no vegetarin or halal breakfast not enough tables for dining dirty carpet dirty curtains dirty bathroom no hairdryer poor shower tap water too hot no heating
Within 5 minutes Ilford railway station. Breakfast available on the dot.
No kettle in room altho' one available 24/7 by reception with tea, coffee, milk.
Good sized room comfy bed friendly staff plenty of parking
My room had a ill fitting window which at this time of year was a bit chilly
Convenient to get to the train station
Upon arrival the receptionist was on a personal phone call and didn't acknowledge us for ten mins, rude staff, breakfast wasn't a full English and was cold twice! Blinds didn't open, shelf was falling off, wasn't very clean and there was a horrible smell. Overall the staff made it even worse. They just weren't helpful at all and started speaking about the time we came in whilst we were sitting there as if we couldn't hear them. Would never stay again or recommend. Was terrible
Wouldn't let a dog stay here
Gentleman at the reception desk was very helpful.
For the price I paid, I got value for my money, TV, internet, full English breakfast, and most of the staff were friendly, helpful. All and all very good.
rooms were very comfortable but a little dated
The staff were courteous the tea and coffee was free the bedding was clean the price was cheap the parking was available and free breakfast was fast and tasty
The room was a bit scruffy
Cold room, no heating, bedding duvet was really thin poor condition never slept , couldn't get warm. Breakfast rubbish asked sausage on toast there was one sausage on uncooked toast. I travel every week and pay the same at much better accom. Avoid
Quick book in friendly staff
The only thing we liked was the TV haha
When arrived to the hotel a receptionist gave us the key, when we walked into the room we thiugh 'oh nors that bad', however, after havig a better look around we noticed dirty bed sheets, no cold water in the sink only boiling hot, male slippers and some shower gels unthr bathroom which we obviously didnt use. We thought it was left by a previous guest but the receptionist told us it's provided by the hotel. We got our bed sheets changed hiwevrr the new ones were not migh better. Location is close to railway station and shops, but the area itself seemed to be unsafe. Walking back to the hotel from cinema was scary as there were groups of young people walking around the street etc. breakfast was good however not enough tables so we had to wait for a table and then wait for the food as there was only one lady cooking and serving us. When checkin out and giving back the key we did not receive thanks or goodbye. No communication. The building itself was old fashioned and needed some cleaning.
Blinds on windows were broken empty bottles in room someone's shoes plus other belongings left in room
The size of the room, nice and spacious
Thin walls, dents in the mattress, I had an en suite bathroom but the sink was in the room. The bathroom was dirty and the door to the room was not correctly fitted so it was hard to open and close.
Noise from other guests until late night. Problem with breakfast as there was no available seat.
Wifi connection is very poor
Really dirty,and unconfortable
Room were dirty
The kitchen staff was very nice.
The room was very cold and noisy, I could´t close the window properly and the car park was just in front of my room. I guess if you get a room from the garden side it will be fine.
