Comfort and cleanliness of room.

Wedding disco music heard till midnight.

The scenery was beautiful and the hotel was spotless.

The food in The Moorhen restaurant was disappointing. I had asked for a twin room and was given a double.

Parking is very good, easy to find. The girl behind the reception was very sociable and made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was quick and very well cooked. I would stay again,

The room was comfortable, with all that we required.

Sorry - the room was cold and no instructions how to use the Climate Control. 2 fleeces each necessary to watch tv. Coffee at dinner was not good. At breakfast was marginally better.

Helpfulness of most staff, general clean ambience in public areas of the hotel

The smell of urine in my bath room and no soap in either dispensers rather spolit my stay here.

The bedroom was a very reasonable size with two easy chairs. The breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared.

Having eaten in the lounge bar in the evening I was a little disappointed with the breakfast.It was a little rushed I also prefer tinned tomatoes rather than fresh and black pudding is far superior to hash browns. That said it was a good breakfast.

Superior room was not as big and 'superior' as we'd seen in pictures so didn't really get the room we wanted.

Charming room, nice facilities.

Corridors could use a decorating update. No ventilation in the room and the windows did not have a limit lock (ground floor) so I didn't want to leave them open overnight -- got rather stale.

Room was very good. Was upgraded because no tv remote. Did have trouble with room card as it wasn't clearly marked which way to put in door lock.

Food - I only eat the breakfast but it was very poor. The basic cereals,juices, tea was fine. The coffee was awful and the cooked breakfast was awful couldn't eat it.

The staff accomodated for our needs when we arrived early. It was a pleasant experience

Staff were all very friendly & efficient - I arrived late at about 10.15pm and it was no trouble to obtain a very good hearty sandwich. Breakfast staff efficient & friendly but served rather than cleared which limited the tables available to sit at .Breakfacst was served speedily & was excellent . Hotel rooms had everything you need and beds very comfortable - all round excellent .

Only an observation that the breakfast tables were not cleared as quickly as breakfast was served which made seating difficult. I ate at 7am and by 7.20 am people were struggling to find a cleared table to sit at. But really this is a minor point as I am sure people woudl have asked for a cleared table.
