Excellent location for our needs - central London 20 mins away. Interesting variety of good restaurants nearby and Fullers brewery all within easy walking distance.
Helpful staff. Great , clean modern rooms. Glad they had a parking space for us. As this is premium in London.
A bit pricey
Clenleness of the hotel in general
Noisy building works in the morning
Picture shown in booking on the room left for 4 people had nothing to do with the bedroom offered to us Very low quality/price the lowest quality met in Best Western Hotel Very dirty (carpet, curtains...) We will not deffinetely come back Very disappointed
Staff very helpful and pleasant Excellent position For the price considering it is London facilities were excellent pretty good sound proofing for London traffic. Windows able to be opened for precious fresh air. Would definitely stay again.
First room offered was in the basement, and for a longer than 1 day stay would have been awful, simply because way too dark. However, staff changed the room for me straight away. Excellent Perhaps the hotel shld cancel those basement rooms, way too dark.
Receptionist was very friendly and waitress serving breakfast was nice and smiley. Good connection with buses.
Had to walk outside to get to room but it was not a big deal. It's literally 10 seconds walk.
The staff was really nice. The family room was good sized. Convenient access to underground.
Breakfast ends at 9:30 which was rather early for us and we missed it once.
Very small single room that had everything I needed. Comfortable, clean and staff very helpful. Step outdoors and into lovely Chiswick - short walk to Turnham Green tube station. Easy tube or taxi trip to Kew Gardens, or Kensington.
Near the tube station Many restaurants and supermarket nearby
slow internet connection It's been a surprise that we had been charged for breakfast we didn't order. Unluckily, I found out after we checked out. I tried to email the hotel about this but no reply until now
Good location. Underground station a short walk away. Plenty of eateries and supermarkets nearby. Public transport easily available. Kew Gardens within easy reach by public bus.
Poor Wifi coverage in the annexe buildings.
Location is great, the room is nicely refurbished and stylish with all mid cons including full length mirror, bedside lights, in room safe, hair dryer etc. The shower was great although very small. Tea and coffee and biscuits provided. No toiletries except for squeegee soap.
Room 502 is in the basement directly under the entrance door and foyer. There is a skylight only, and people entering the building actually walk over your skylight. I could even smell the cigarette smoke of people standing outside smoking. The 'window' to the skylight closed there is no noise which is good but it is rather unpleasant being in a small dark cave. The heating was blasting out in the corridor even though the day was not particularly cold, so I had to sleep all night with my aircon on! The bathroom is miniscule, with the basin not much bigger than a soup bowl, and hardly room to dry yourself after the shower. This is a single room and it does seem that some hotels think that everything in a single room can be half size.
The customer service The clean rooms Was a nice place
Newly refurbished and decorated this hotel has an excellent proximity to the river and classic Chiswick Mall and the immediate and large choice of bars and restaurants in Chiswick High Rd. Also convenient for buses and tube station. The attic room to which i was assigned was smallish but perfectly adequate with aircon, tv, Kettle and biscuits for tea or coffee making and downlights and flexible reading lights. Comfortable bed. Immaculate bathroom (shower a bit of a tight squeeze) and big fluffy towels. Beautifully clean everywhere. The breakfast buffet supplied every need and was very good.
Reception staff quality varied wildly. The manager was extremely helpful and cheerful while some of the others seemed to have dropped from another planet. Could not give me simple directions or recommend a pleasant pub by the river. Also gave me the wrong breakfast times (but this is printed in the key folder so no problem).
A great place to stay with no remarks.
Rooms comfortable Staff very helpful Good location as launch-point: - 5-minute walk to Tube - Lots of Restaurants in Area - Convenience stortes nearby
I have children and grandchildren in Chiswick so this location is ideal for me. And they have single rooms which are hard to find.
Air conditioning difficult to control.
The assistant manager was very rude and did not agree to the terms he had guaranteed before. Before checking in I checked with the hotel twice that I will not be given a basement room but on arrival i was given a basement room. The answer he gave was- we cant service so many requests. in the evening i ordered food, there was poor service, no cutlery, sad food. This hotel only offers a clean small comfortable room. Staff and services are just poor.
Very nice place New rooms Clean & confortable !
This was my 50th birthday treat and everything was perfect! Been here before and when we came back it had been refurbished. The hotel is immaculately clean and in a fantastic location. Once you arrive there if driving, you can park your car up (which is a bonus in london) and get an all day travel ticket to use on bus, underground or railway. just outside of the hotel you can walk up and down the high street with all your brand shops and plenty of eateries. It was nice to be able to walk up the street to a primark (my favourite bargain shop) rather than have to get a bus ride to my local store!! I would highly recommend this hotel.
nothing not to like
Location, cleanness, access
Staff very good, The hotel is in the process of renovation and the new décor is very good. We were in one of the new rooms and it was excellent. The Hotel offers parking which in London is a bonus.
Location to London Underground. Rooms are nice size. We arrived two hours early and reception was able to give us a room
Breakfast is extra. Bed is lumpy and uncomfortable
I was given a triple room instead of a doble one, which was very spacious
The location of this triple room is in the main entrance next to the main door, which can be quite noisy at nights (luckily I was only staying for one night)
Handy location and helpful staff
