Good reception and bar staff.ample parking. Ample but simple breakfast.

Paid extra for an executive suite. Shower sounded like a wailing banshee when switched on and only produced cold water.had to use the bath tap hair shower which had to be hand held. The sink plug was broken. The breakfast was good, the staff very poor and lazy. The heating in the room was off but the room was too hot, unable to open a window because of the noisy traffic outside.

The hotel had a wedding on at the same time which took precedence over everything else. I wasn't allowed access to the bar, and I had to move room as the party was too noisy. The room had no reference guide on phone numbers, WiFi etc

Location Reception were helpful and efficient.

The waitress didn't speak English so I had to point to what I wanted. Asking for English mustard was a challenge as she refused to acknowledge me and then took over 10 mins for her to fetch once she did. At breakfast she forgot the toast and I gave up trying to ask. Very poor service, especially as there were only three of us in total in the restaurant at Dinner. The bathroom in the room was also below standard with cords/strands off the mop left on the floor.

No toiletries in room which would have expected,had to go find place to buy some as left home without couple of items...

Room was spacious & clean.

Tv didn't work, told reception staff, was given a free drink each. Then worked out none of the plug sockets worked. Couldn't dry my hair after shower. couldn't watched TV, or charge phone. Was given 10 pound off bill. Booked executive double room so was not like it was a cheap night.

Rooms large, comfortable and warm. Breakfast good and served quickly. Convenient location for our requirements.

Shower in room 212 could do with replacing, and the shower bath panel allows lots of water onto the bathroom floor. The music noise from the function room was very loud in room 212 and went on until 00.20hrs. The function room needs to have much better sound insulation so as to keep the sound level in the rooms down to an acceptable level.

My company had it's Christmas function at the hotel, hence the stay. Very well organised and a very enjoyable evening, good food and excellent and friendly service.

That we weren't informed when we booked that there was Christmas parties on and it interfered with the restaurant menu and bar,and also that we didn't get piece and quiet until 4.10 am so did not have a good nights sleep,our room had one bath towel and no hand towels ,when a double room was booked.i would have to be desperate to stay in a best western hotel again.

the hotel was excellent value for money, we only stayed the one night but found the staff very friendly and helpful and room was spacious and comfortable ,i would definitely recommend it to anyone in the future.we are planning to come to one of your theme nights again in January and February and will be planning to stay the night again so will be in touch in the near future,so thank you for a very pleasant stay and will be in contact very soon to book bye for now. Dining room for evening meal pretty poor

It is very well situated and has impressive looks.

The hotel bedrooms on the two nights we stayed were absolutely freezing cold, and not acceptable.

Breakfast staff very good.

Hotel is very tired and dated. Hotel front staff good but restaurant staff made you feel unwelcome. House keeping need to check towels and toilet rolls as the towels were in poor condition and no spare toilet roll in room. Meal at night was poor very substandard.

Arrived at 9:00pm and too late for me to eat dinner after a long car journey. However tbe bar does not stock ANYTHING in the way of nibbles to have with your beer. Have never come across this anywhere before.

It was very dirty, the staff were unhelpful and looked pretty fed up to be there. Our room was filthy, the door locks and the air conditioning were not working. The breakfast was so oily that I could see that other guests were leaving everything. I could not face breakfast on the second day as the thought of facing the same food made me physically sick. Very tired hotel and staff, nothing to recommend it. I understand that the hotel may be in administration however it is under the Best Western banner so I am not sure how they could allow a property to get so bad.
