Generally understaffed and unhelpful when asked about local restaurants. Buffet breakfast was not replenished, very little hot food available.Requested a breakfast refund and only £4 per head offered. Rooms were scruffy, although clean. Definitely overpriced |

All worked out fine. Room comfortable. Breakfast nice enough, plenty of choice. Great location. Attractive parkland across road, easy to find car parking and close to city centre. |

Traditional, comfortable hotel with beatiful view of park. Not far from city centre. Although very helpful reception staff had little local knowledge. We had to go looking for someone to take breadkfast order. Tables had been reset with fresh cutlery but stained table clothes left on. |

It's proximity to Queens Park and links into the Centre of the city. The shower in the room had very little pressure and came out as a fast trickle. It was reported to the staff but no action was done to rectify the problem. |

After reading some reviews we were a little worried about what we would be facing, however all were unfounded, we were pleasently surprised and enjoyed our stay. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was coveniently placed for local shopping and food. Very nice views over park from front bedrooms by road, which was suprisingly quite with very little traffic. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the front room I stayed was very nice, but only got this after moving from two other rooms, one at the back which needed refurb and another room where a guest had dragged a roller blind off the window. |

It was adequate for the purpose, an overnight stay after a function in the hotel. Nothing outstanding or on the contrary, nothing poor about it. |
