The staff where friendly and helpful, middle lights didn't work in room but that was not a problem for us. Loved the shower
Soft sheets good shower spacious room good wifi
Wasn't woken up for breakfast as requested. Really unhappy with that
The room was clean
I stayed for one night this weekend and there was major building work being carried out from 7am in the morning. I asked to speak to a manager but sasha (manager) refused to speak to me. Other guests were also complaining. Quite ridiculous
Distance from the center
Proximity to the train station is excellent, staff are charismatic and bring a smile to anyone's' day. Bedroom was clean and modern, everything was "enough".
5am on a Friday, rubbish truck comes around on the adjacent Heron Mews, makes quite a racket. £20 refundable key deposit.
The room was comfortable.
There is a very small window to the room,no ventilation,no fan or Ac. Very stuffy room. Also, the location is very bad. No parking facility, had to be begging at the sister hotel for parking. Then when the sister's parking lot was full,I had to park at the roadside. I got a parking ticket of £55.00!!! I will not stay or recommend the hotel to any body!!!
large room central location
water leak in bathroom smell in bathroom decor
The hotel is very close to train station. There are lots of restaurants araound the hotel.personals are kindly and friendly. Breakfast is awesome. Wifi is nice. you have one pilow and one cushion for every bed.
there is not any air condition system in the room.
The Room / Front reception desk - very kind staff.
Location; close to tube station, shops n bars close by. Staff; could not be more helpful. Very pleasent and eager to help. Rooms; very clean n comfortable.
No wifi access in room but not a major thing as I didn't go to London to spend time in my room on the internet.
booked through booking.com and the got confirmation email no problem. Got to the hotel and I was asked for photo ID in order to check in!! this was not stated on the booking confirmation email...we were lucky that one member of the group did have a photo id on them, either the hotel chain and/or booking.hotel should have made this clear in the booking...
1. The staff were great; everyone was helpful and nobody, not even once, said no to me. 2. Bathroom and shower were super clean and fully functional. 3. The cleaning lady, cleaned and took care of everything; every morning and whenever I asked her to. Again, everyone was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Thanks
I wish if it was a bit cheaper.
It was very cheap, and close to the trains and shops.
My room did not have wifi, even though they claimed that all rooms had wifi when I booked. I told the reseptionist and she tried to fix it, but it still didn't work. It was also very small, but that is what you should expect at that price. Also, it was extremely warm in the room, it did not have air condition an the window would not open properly. It was not the nicest street outside the hotel, and it was quite a lot of noise in the night.
For a 4 star hotel I expected much more. It was incredibly hot & humid in the room & there was no air conditioning facility in the room & no fans were provided.. In addition with only one pillow each it was uncomfortable & we both had a bad nights sleep!
Location, Close to railway station With very frequent connections, Stratford and London Liverpool Street with underground can be reached in 20 minutes. Many nice shops, charming pubs and restaurants in the close area. Nice breakfast, with good selection and cooked to order. And of cause, the staff. They are so friendly and always smiling and want to assist in any way. They are champs.
Would like bacon to my English breakfast. During summer the rooms may be hot, there are no fan or cooling available.
Some staff are very good and helpful
A very rude receptionist.Not a 4star hotel either
Staff at reception and restaurant are very good. Parking facility is poor.
Services of staff
comfortable and nice. Free breakfast was great, too.
only one fan for A/C
We called when were looking for the hotel and the staff member who answered was asking how and when we booked, i got the impression she didn't even believe we had a reservation and i had to prove it. We finally found the hotel, had to park at the sister hotel around the corner and walk to what appeared to be a high street store and the area was awful and felt unsafe. Upon entering to check in, the staff weren't very welcoming and i was asked to leave a £10 deposit for the room key, which i've never had to do before. The room was very small and there was an annoying buzz coming from the lights. The breakfast was only served until 9am, so when we arrived downstairs at 9, we had to help ourselves to coffee and toast in the conference room. While we were sitting in there, there was a staff member tidying the area, and she avoided eye contact at all times and didn't seem very happy at all.
Not made obvious at time of booking that photo identification would be required at check in. Luckily my wife had some on her!
Close to Ilford Station - easy access to Stratford and the City.
Small Rooms. Cleaning Staff won't clean room whilst you're working in the room which is inconvenient. Street noise always a problem - late at night and early in morning.
Nothing ! The resan I like said on web 4 * we is not even 2*
Every think bad
Best hotel in ilford , 2 minutes walk from the bus stop and the railway station. Unbeatable in the quality and price , no problem here , radiator all time working ,friendly staff ,warm welcome and helping. They gave me a double bed room when they didn't had the single at the same price.Breakfast was also great.
Nothing in particular. Will come here again.
The hotel is EXCELLENT value. The staff is great (beyond reasonable expectations), the rooms and common areas are clean (everything is brand new), and it's a three minute walk to the train station into London Liverpool, which is itself a pretty short train ride (10-15 mins, and about three pounds). At less than half the price of a hotel in downtown London, this is a great value.
