Warm welcome, good service. Localisation suited me best Sinks need to be updated to 20th century type. The two-piped once had only burning and ice cold water. Unnecessary to mention they are not very hygienic. One tap with temperature control will do. |

We attended the Ceroc modern jive evening in the fabulous ballroom and it was lovely to be able to stay in the hotel after the dancing and crash out without a long journey. Food was excellent, facilities excellent (also good to have sky sports in the room although the wife wasn't too sure about that!!) As our room was at the far end of the hotel, it was a long way from the car park, around to the hotel entrance and then along a long corridor to the room next to where the car was parked. It would have been more convenient if we could have accessed our room from one of the fire exits (using our room key/card) but also understand that this could cause security problems. |

The staff were very pleasant. The parking was easy. There were very nice hot snacks available in the evenings in the bar. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was quite small with about a metre clearance round the bed and we were continually climbing over each other. Although photographs show a spacious double room these are for executive suites the one we had was a standard room. There were three large mirrors in the room but not one of them had a decent light - impossible to do make-up or shave correctly. The wireless Internet access connection was hit and miss and when a connection was established it was very slow with frequent time-outs. |

The shower room - there was no messy shower curtain/door - it was quite open in the small facilities room. Curtain/door would have made it feel cramped. It was a bright room and felt very clean. Room small, I'm glad I was the only occupant - double for single use. It felt very much like a typical corporate hotel for business traveller. I booked 'room only' but took breafast at an additional charge, not knowing what it was. There was no tariff for room service or the breakfast buffet, and one doesn't like to have to ask all the time. |

Hotel was charming, welcoming and had high standards of cleanliness. reception and bar staff were friendly and approachable. The housekeeping trying to gain entry before 9am and then 3 further occasions after being told we would not be checking out til 11am. A maid actually entered the room on the 4th occasion as I was dressing without knocking. A do not disturb sign would have been helpful. |

It was easily accessible and an inexpensive way for us to visit friends in the area Booking was room only - it was difficult to find out what breakfast would have cost had we chosen to take it - no-one told us and there were no notices before the breakfast area |
