Best Western Kilima Hotel    

Lovely restaurant with great food and service. Four poster room very comfortable. Staff all very good. Short walk to city centre.

Steam room had a broken seat and steam outlet could direct steam onto legs. Room 7 door lock awkward to open, needs adjusting.

Attenton to detail, nothing was too much trouble to make your stay comfortable.Food was excellent,and the swimming pool was a decent size,

the atmosphere, of the hotel and the friendlyness of the staff and other guests. its location was a short walk to york city walls.

The room was "past its best" and not that clean.

The hotel needs a good maintance. The walls needs to be painted/wall paper changed. The maitress of my bed was awful with a big hole in the midle.

Breakfast was excellent staff very friendly nothing too much to ask for. Location perfect.

Squeaky floorboards in the room meant u were wakened if your partner got up.. Very noisy

food was good but very little choice my wife requested a salad for a main course and it was very poor 3 slices of cheese one tomato and a few bits of lettuce

staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the four poster bed and the television room was so comfortable and if we had time we would of loved to go swimming

Very warm welcome from Chris as we arrived set the tone for a happy, relaxing break. Room was a good size, clean, with a comfortable bed. The free wifi is a must for us these days and it connected immediately.The swimming pool was the perfect temperature with plenty of towels in the changing rooms. At meal times Sammy was the perfect host and we enjoyed the full English breakfast. The secure parking was much appreciated.

Nothing really but the evening meals were expensive and portions too big. It would be better to reduce both.

great hotel in quiet location, 20 mins walk to castle walls max, lovely pool, friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely family room (11), would i stay again... Yes!

The large and comfortable family room which was nice and cosy as well as being very clean. The staff were very efficient and friendly. My daughter loved the pool and my husband loved the large (and free) car park, especially when we noticed the prices at the car parks in the city centre! Its nice that the hotel is an easily-walkable distance from the town centre.

The creaky floorboards kept waking me up at night when other guests were moving around, but it was probably what I expected from an old building.

All the staff were excellent and very friendly.The breakfast was wonderful and the room was comfortable. There was ample car parking to the rear of the hotel,I was able to leave the car there after checking out untill I journeyed back home. I would Not hesitate to book the Kilima again.

I felt the room was very overpriced for what it was. It was not very spacious and the bathroom was outdated. The breakfast was also average.

Lovely staff. Brilliant evening menu, thought I'd died and gone to heaven eating their lamb dish. Lovely four poster bed and lounge, definitely be going back.

We liked the comfortable warm room and the four poster bed .We also thought the complimentary hot chocolate and biscuits on the tea tray were very welcome after a chilly, damp day spent shopping,The breakfast was all waitress served,(no self service queues here,)by friendly efficient smiling staff.
