Staff were very helpful, couldnt do enough for you. Beautiful clean rooms. The facilities are excellent and the food Very good. Will use this hotel every time we visit Edinburgh
Cleanliness and comfort .
Thought the food was expensive for what it was.Had beef lasagne and it was obviously microwaved as it was hot around the edge and cool in the centre.
Stayed here for 3 weeks great place and great location
The pool and sauna
Although it was only 5 pounds for our pet good value but I don't see why we should pay for a dog that does not cast hair and is no bother .
Very comfortable bed, pleasant staff and an excellent bus service into Edinburgh. Had a massage and used he spa which was very relaxing.
Went for a walk on Friday evening hoping to find somewhere to eat but there was nothing within walking distance so returned to eat in the hotel. Meal very disappointing unfortunately. Meat tough and tasteless but not awful.
Hotel was brilliant, clean and tidy. Friendly staff and food was awesome
wifi supposed to work but was unable to get a signal in room all weekend!
Decent hotel in a good situation
I f you want the spa services book before you book the hotel. We didn't so they had no vacancies 4 weeks in advance. Pity
I wanted to find local takeaway shop and how to get into town centre reception staff was very helpful and kind.
Great location for the beach, and a short trip into Edinburgh. Really comfortable room.
This hotel was clean, the room was spacious and by far the nicest hotel I've stayed In for the price we paid. It's in a good location and easy to find. The gym is excellent. Top marks.
Getting out of the bath was a bit tricky, there was no bath mat and being 65, I was concerned I'd slip. Just a small thing.
We found this lovely hotel online and booked and were so pleasantly surprised, the facilities are great, customer service is brilliant,we ate in the bistro once, could be slightly better in ambience and speed of service but food was good. The hotel provide you with umbrellas, theres a cute library of books and dvds, room size great, plenty of parking, the spa is lovely and pool good. There is a full pulic transport timetable so we got the train in and out of the city, cheap and quick to do.Would stay again, perfect for families.
The price and location
The hotel is a good value for money. Our room was very spacious and the bed comfy.Hotel staff were very helpful.
The only thing which wasn't great was the shower. The water pressure was really low.
Rooms are Lovley value for money with swimming pool sauna and steam room all included with room my fiancee loved the big bed got brilliant sleep .
Location was ideal,good leisure facilities.
Had to wait for some gluten free toast on the 2nd morning at breakfast (40 mins) no explanation until the 3rd time of asking, sorted eventually by one of the waitresses.
Charging extra for breakfast when it was already £110 per night Rooms clean but tired and cramped
Staff were all pleasant and welcoming.
Not enough variety of food for long stay
The price was very reasonable and the location was ideal. Staff was extremely helpful in everything. WIFI was non existent until about 10pm due to number of people using it although staff made every effort to resolve this.
room was very warm even though the heating was off, when opening the window the noise level was high. The breakfast was expensive and not up to much with greasy cheap sausages, fatty bacon.
Staff made my 3 year old son feel very welcome
Facilities and helpful Staff.
On average, I stay in hotels three times a week. I can recommend this hotel.
Close proximity to Musselburgh racecourse. Friendly Reception staff, followed by a phone call to our room to check everything was ok.
Restaurant staff did not seem to know we had booked in for dinner.
