The hotel was clean and staff extremely friendly, for the price of this hotel you could not have any cause for complaint The heating was turned off about 10.30pm and the room did cool down however it was exceptionally cold outside that night |

Very friendly staff, wonderful pool area, the countryside surrounding gulfcourse was made for walking --- is anyone knew where to send you ! Nice to be near enough to drive easily to city or mountains but wake up to river views and bird song. Very poor access to good info on Glascow (clear maps etc), front office staff was friendly but very uniformed about the local area (too young) |

The spacousness and cleanliness of the room. The cooked buffet breakfast was rather unpalatable as it was under lights which dried out various items, particularly the fried eggs. On checking in I was offered only the cooked breakfast which was £2 dearer than the continental which I found could have been offerd to me. I felt somewhat pressured to make an on the spot decision before I could even get my bearings. |

The Club Room that we had was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The hotel offered good spa facilities and a good size swimming pool along with a reasonable choice of meals in the bistro. It is situated about 4 or 5 miles outside the city of Edinburgh but is well served by bus and rail services into the city.We enjoyed our stay and it suited our requirements for our visit to Edinburgh and the local attractions. |

The part of the hotel in which our room was has been renewed or built quite recently and it's then much better than the rest of the building, old fashioned as most of the hotels in Scotland. As such, it's really comfortable and fully equipped. Wonderful spa The position, the hotel being quite far from Edinburg centre without comfortable bus connections. It's far also from the airport, if you have to leave early in the morning it's not the best choice. |

Good and helpful staff. Value for money. Free internet. Clean rooms. Near Queen Margret University. I am pleased with my stay. The location is in the east. Far from the city center, however there is a bus. Far from shoping centers |

Leisure centre was great, swim and pool free of charge to guests. Well run and facilities in change room very good. Distance from city was not clear to me when I booked - perhaps I missed the 10 miles out of town, but with local bus at door for 1 pound 20 per trip, with day tickets available - it was not much of a problem. Prices of food and drink okay, except for breakfast - I have only coffee and toast for breakfast and to get this had to pay full continental breakfast rate of over 7 pounds. |

The spa facilities are brilliant. Also, you can leave the car at the hotel and take a bus to the city center. The bedroom was on the second floor and there was no lift. There is nothing at the surroundings of the hotel. However, there is a Restaurant, a Bistro and a Bar where you can have dinner and drink a pint! |

Nice location (20 minutes by bus to the city centre, just at the bus stop), close to the seaside, quiet area. Very convenient leisure club (swimming pool, sauna, spa, fitness classes) - really great addition to the room. Friendly staff, asked for a quiet room and got it. Good bistro and restaurant in the hotel (food available 24 hours, at least sandwiches - after 22). Very expensive breakfast (10 pounds!), costs 3 pounds in the very centre (Standing Order - do recommend to go there). No fridge in the room. Tap with separate streams of hot and cold water in the bathroom. |

Natasha on reception deserves a mention for being so friendly. The situation of the hotel was excellent for my purpose. The bistro appears to be short staffed at times and this effected the service. |

Hotel staff very pleasant and friendly. The staff in in leisure complex were not very approachable and very curt when replying to questions about the complex. My daughters and i were put off by their attitude , as this was one of the reasons we stayed at the hotel. I have to stress that the hotel and leisure complex are under separate management ......(chalk and cheese) I would visit the hotel again but swerve on the leisure. |

I liked the friendliness of the staff and loved al the free facilities of the swimming pool and spar. The mattress/bed must possibly be the hardest and most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. |
