Everything about my stay was just as I hoped it would be. All requirements met and excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast room set up like a class room
A comfortable, welcoming hotel. I only stayed one night but was made very welcome. Helpful staff and a generous size room. A pleasant experience
For some reason the wifi would not work in my room, but did elsewhere
Quiet and peaceful even though there was a wedding reception. Comfortable clean room and very nice breakfast with good coffee.
Excellent room. Huge and great service.
Shower freezing cold and room far too hot on arrival but was able to adjust with air conditioning despite not being able to turn the radiators off.
Our room was fabulous after we were moved from a very old ground floor room to a 2nd floor new room. The receptionist was very quick in changing our room when asked if there was any availability.
The cooked breakfast was below average, the eggs were cold and just not enough of it.
Excellent dinner, but a bit soulless as we were the only ones there on a Friday night. Very helpful and welcoming staff
Cold room, took forever to warm up, lack of housekeeping detail: no hand soap, missing hair drier, no tissues etc. Good facilities, great food but a bit dated and motel like
The room i stayed in was modern and clean. Breakfast was lovely, catered for vegetarians.
Breakfast was good
Hardly got any sleep due to the noise of other guests. I understand their was weddings on but to be awoken at 5am by drunken louts that lasted 2hrs was ridiculous.. And no one was on reception to sort that problem out. Luckily the wedding we attended is over and we no longer have to stay there again
Food, Room, Value and Free Golf after 4.00 p.m. :)
Friendly staff. Attractive location.
Dismal room..in a time warp. 2 light bulbs not working and couldn't get wifi. Breakfast OK but food and crockery not replenished towards the end. Scrambled eggs very poor. Gather new rooms much nicer so need to ensure specify on booking.
Large bedroom. Excellent very large bed. Good bacon at breakfast.
An overpowering plugin room "freshener". Three hands needed for buffet breakfast to hold plate, hold lid and use spoon. Tinned tomatoes.
Friendly staff. Lovely setting. They did offer a £9 discount for putting us in an old room when we had booked a 'superior'.
Depressing 1980's style room with grotty coloured bathroom. Second room had light bulbs which didn't work and no wifi. Breakfast OK but no fresh fruit and my son said the scrambled eggs tasted as if made with powder.
I was very pleased with the size of the room. Room service was very efficient and the quality of my food equally good. I felt welcomed. I liked the fact that each guest had an allocated table at breakfast.
The hotel is in a lovely setting and it was nice to be in a hotel with a more personal touch. Grounds were lovely and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and very professional.
Room was modern and clean but felt quite dark even with the curtains open.
Location was great, food was good, free wifi a bonus with good reception. Excellent gardens and grounds
Only negative was some of the hotel was dated.
Always a warm welcome from the staff at this pleasantly laid out hotel. Beautifully colourful gardens. Excellent breakfast.
On this last visit, I stayed in a ground floor room which was very pleasant, but at night I found the room to be too warm and stuffy and not able to allow fresh air into the room because of the window design.
Staff were very efficient and friendly always checking things ok. Great loaction for surrounding towns that I was visiting. Named table for breakfast! Lyndsey, Shelley and the lady on reception when I checked in(sorry forgot your name:() - great service:) Would highly recommend.
Wasn't able to access WiFi. Breakfast room a bit regimented.
Comfortable room. Picturesque setting.
Poor quality of food. Greasy fried potatoes at breakfast with low quality sausages and tinned tomatoes. Coffee was weak. So bad I skipped breakfast on the final morning and went elsewhere.
The all experience from the wedding we attended, food ,service and accomodation
No toilet roll and twin beds when we had asked for a double
Parking, reception, room, facilities. Breakfast awesome. Extreme value for money
Staff - nothing was too much trouble
Not keen on carpeted bathrooms
Very friendly service. The name cards/ place designator a for breakfast were an excellent touch. Golf for free on course after 4.00pm was excellent. Nice gardens.
The venue was quiet, clean and convenient for a nearby function we were attending. Breakfast was buffet style ( which we prefer...less hassle ) and staff were helpful and polite without being obsequious ( which we also prefer ). Good all round stay
