Liked the room
Too busy for comfort, too many people in the room. Didn't like wine glasses, too thick. A finer glass is better to drink from.
My family & ! liked everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly and very very helpful. The facilities were clean and we had a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely return and recommend to others
Checking out and heading home. In fairness, some of the staff were very good and efficient, despite the shambolic management of this place.
The whole experience. I've stayed here before and it was not a good experience, but I can't find any better around Bradford unfortunately. First room smelt of cigarette smoke, so moved to another room where the toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor...I'd given up by the time I got to the third room. Food quality is average, One female serving at the bar was very abrupt. At breakfast, you get local commercial radio station played at high volume and lots of dirty plates! If I had any other choice, I would never return to this circus.
We stayed here the night before my nieces' christening. It is in a convenient location for drivers, and easy to find, even for people like my boyfriend that don't ask for directions ever. Although we went as a couple (ah, romantic!), we also wanted to get some work done on the Saturday night (sad, pathetic professionals that we are!). So we thought we would combine the two and have a night in the hotel, order room service and have some time together, whilst also working! The room was nice and large so it was easy for us to both work in our own space and there were sofas and a coffee table to spread folders out onto, as well as a desk. It was a nice change from my boyfriend's stuff being left all over my house when I'm at home. The wifi was great. The bed was comfortable. The many staff were very friendly.
The pool and leisure centre closed early (at 8pm) and the last entrance was at 7pm. When we arrived, there was only one set of towels out in the bathroom of a double room. The trouser press didn't work... So, we needed an ironing board and towels. We also wanted room service for food and a bottle of champagne (well, it was Saturday night!) BUT... (and here the adventure begins) the phone in the room didn't work either. We looked behind the sofa for the phone socket (in case it had fallen out). It was not pretty, but it was behind the sofa and let's face it, no one cleans behind their furniture at home either. So my boyfriend went downstairs to arrange both dinner and an ironing board. They asked him "do you want to wait for the food and take it up with you" - he found this quite funny, as it kind of takes away the whole point of 'room service'. He bought a bottle of champagne (it was the only bottle in the hotel) which they then tried to open right in front of him downstairs. So, he returned the room holding onto the bottle and cork so it didn't pop and explode everywhere! Dessert arrived first (cheese board) an hour later. We then waited another 45 min for the main meals (problem in the kitchen - good job he hadn't waited downstairs or I would have had a very lonely Saturday night indeed). We would've rang to check where it was, but then, of course, the phone was broken. In the end we were pretty drunk off the champagne on an empty stomach, so we didn't really care. We found all the staff coming in and out of our room (to deliver the ironing board, to bring more towels, to tell us food was delayed, to bring the food, to bring more food, to take away food, etc) all highly amusing! And we got our work finished!
Easy to find, and bit further out of town than the distance on the website, but a good clean hotel. Breakfast was good, and the room was a good size and clean. Very good value for money and would recommend and use again.
Further out of town than description suggested.
location was good, although easy to miss the turning just off the M606. Food was good, albeit at typically high 4* hotel prices. Really good value at £55 (though with an additional £10 for breakfast)
very little not to like. Bathroom could do with a refurb, though the main bedroom was fine. Manager chap walked around with a face like a wet weekend, though the rest of the staff were really pleasant
Good hotel, friendly staff, food was nice.
Bed very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, not the best sleep I've had in a hotel!!
Good gym, pool, sauna & steam room
Evening meal not great. No black pudding with breakfast
the location and luxury with wide car park,
There are few things you may take into consideration when you arrive, first thing is that any newspaper should be paid when checking out with no clear explanation when do check in as the receptionist just ask wether you want or not and that's a tricky way to make people pay more. The other thing is that I have ordered extra bed for kid and didn't show in the website that i will have to pay extra charge but when I ask for it they told that i will have to pay 10£ for this. All in all, one should be careful with these kind of people otherwise the hotel is very clean quite and nice
Room was lovely, bed so comfrey, breakfast was great and lots of choices. Will go back. Spa and pool with steam room and gym is a great bonus !
Hotel is a little bit out of city centre not good if you have no car. A short taxi ride soon sorts that out though.
Far too expensive for 2 nights for £83!
Location to Central Bradford Food was better than most value hotels Clean Nice big towels
Dated decor although kept clean Room smelt of smoke although they are supposed to be non smoking Big jolt when lifts stop can be very alarming to the unsuspecting Wifi access is a pain having to reconnect every 24 hrs if staying longer. Shower head in bath low if you are over 6 foot you will struggle
stayed here before and is priced really well plus side you can use sauna steam an pool before you check out after a heavy night on the juice!!!!!!!
Price Location in city
Not a lot
The clientele was appalling, there was fighting and noisy drunk people. It was uncomfortable having a drink in the bar which made us leave to war out.
Good friendly staff nice location
Brought lunch for 2 cost £28 far too expensive should have went out to eat
Great value for money, comfortable rooms and friendly service,
Friendly staff Excellent facilities Lovely breakfast
Wedding venue room a little cold and uninviting!
Very comfortable, good food and good value for money. Enjoyed making use of the gym and the pool.
No problems really, just watch the final jolt on the lifts!!
Staff were very helpful
Bath was unclean and had a fair collection of pubic hair all over it.
well we booked this hotel & didn't know what to expect. When we went to our room it was fantastic, 2 couches, a table in the middle and a lovely big bed and air conditioning, we were impressed! We didn't hesitate to book again and..... what a disappointment, old worn wallpaper a tiny double bed 1 chair & 1 desk chair.
The state of the room on the second booking. If this had been the room we got on the first booking we would definitely not have booked again, talk about a false sense of comfort. Visit 1 was perfect, visit 2 was awful, there wont be a visit 3. Can stay across the road for the same sort of price, have air con & check out at 12:00 instead of 11:00. What a let down!! Basically you have a 50/50 chance of either a lovely room or a damn awful room......its a gamble!
Food Shower - fits 2 Bath - fits 2
