We were given the WiFi code which was good. A very light and airy hotel Good price for the standard of the room
The Wifi did not seem to be available in the room in which were located. The bathroom being obscured glass 'within the room' meant that the light going on in the middle of the night there lit up the whole room and disturbed those asleep.
Comfy beds, good value meals in bar
Bathroom and toilet in bedroom had glass walls and no soundproofing
Bad TV signal bad wifi signal and a dog barking all night.
Reception, restaurant and bar staff were all very helpful and although we only had breakfast, the choice and quality was good and perfectly poached eggs. Very modern rooms and good quality bathrooms
Can't check in after midnight and then they have the cheek to charge you out of your bank account!!!
Parking space Breakfast buffet was ok Early check in
Freezing cold No windows Only 1wlan access code
Comfortable bed High standard of decoration Excellent breakfast
PRICE OF THE BEER Glass walls of bathroom
Very nice hotel lovely decoration in room and extremely comfortable.
The instructions for the heating were so small and difficult to read even with glasses.
Very pleasant and helpful staff plus plenty of parking. Lovely modern style hotel.
Signage on the road could be a bit clearer.
All night wedding party.
Breakfast particularly good.
The layout of the room and room features were great.
beds are very good and nice badroom. quick internet connection
heard every sound on the hall. So waked up together with the first of the guest and subsequently all the others who had early plans.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a horrific drive from Newcastle. The lad on reception was brilliant treating two stressed and exhausted travellers to a pint on the house. Exactly what was needed. Can't speak highly enough.
Staff were great, could not do enough and actually had personality! Room was spacious and comfortable if a little bland Excellent parking.
Bit of bland room, TV pretty small given the size of the room (Deluxe Room),
Room very hot!
size and comfort of rooms. no noise even though there was a wedding on. staff very professional and efficient. will be booking again
nothing I did not like.
Super-mega clean venue. No fuss. 'Boutique style' which was a nice surprise. Excellent bed. I like the 'glass booth' bathrooms in the bedrooms. It's funky! It is thick, opaque glass so you can't see naked partners prancing around or having a widdle. It was nice and quiet throughout my stay...day and night. Though I was near the car park and entrance it didn't seem noisy. Nice stay. The AC seems to be a repeated theme with a lot of guests. The air conditioning in my room was faulty and the room was roasting-hot. I like hot, but this was super-suffocating.The very amiable and fabulous Mr Richard Blair booked me in and and couldn't do enough to test and check out the air conditioning in my room. He decided to move me to another room. That was a great relief. Thank you very much for your help Richard. Will visit again.
Telephone contact is sometimes difficult as phone system can take you in pointless circles for extended time. The tiny thin windows in some rooms are not my first choice. Designed so that guests can't look into neighbouring homes which is understandable. Air Con is a bit of a puzzle but a printed sheet is provided to study. Blackout Roller blinds...oops didn't realise they were mechanical and tried to hand-wind them.
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Very Nice rooms
Customer care very good, staff very helpful. Hotel lovely decor bright and cheerful.food very good. Kit, Jon and manager on duty Sunday am very well trained and are a real credit to the Best Western team.
Good breakfast buffet.
The monotonous noise of an air con. fan right outside the window. The complete lack of privacy in the en-suite glass cubicle. The filth/rust on the towel rail which was not cleaned off despite my informing reception. The very annoying job of having to get on your hands and knees to plug in the kettle because there were no sockets above the shelf!
The place is spotless and the staff were spot on.
The wifi is poor.
Generally good experience
asked twice at the front to have my room safe opened (locked on arrival), without success.
