Came to your hotel as a group had been out and decided to all come back and have a drink in the bar went to get a second drink only to be told it was closed no last orders were shouted when I questioned this was told she had told 1 man in are party was very disappointed that we had to leave and find somewhere else at 11 pm

Room 2, very comfortable. Not too noisy

Wasn't there long enought to get upset by anything!

Reasonable priced accommodation in a convinient location for our needs

Interior decoration and frunishings starting to look tired

we were feeling down due to visiting devon for a family funeral but the staff were brilliant , nothing was too much trouble - excellent service !

duvets didn't fit the beds properly-double duvets on queen size beds. public rooms were cold.

Very noisy location No double glazing so heavy condensation on windows and draughty.

Room was so very noisy, both me & my partner hardly slept all night due to noise from room above at 3am people walking around & talking for 2hrs could hear everything + pedestrians shouting in street. Room was cold even with radiators on, bath was too small for (6'3") & no hot water unless it ran for 15-20mins before..

Everything!! Dreadful service, room the size of a broom cupboard. Bathroom very jaded, broken tiles, fan not working, not very clean. Only one set of towels (2 travelling). Room service did not replace the contents of the tea tray and left an open packet of biscuits on it. Staff surly and unhelpful. On Sunday morning the outside entrance had some very large drops of dried blood which I asked to be cleaned.

staff lovely so helpful ,DUNCAN on the front desk was so efficent and really helpful when my t.v would not work ,nothing is too much trouble .hotel needs a bit of updating but staff are toprate

The hotel is tired, staff unenthusiastic, place smells a little stale, showe didn't work properly, ped solid pillows thin and even harder.

noise of kitchen fan in the morning,not good

when reading the lists of rules it felt more as though we were staying in stalag 13 than a hotel. the shower took ages to heat up in the evening and only got to tepid/lukewarm in the morning after being left running for a full 20 minutes. The tv didnt work in the room so i went to reception to ask them to fix it while we were out as there was a film on late that evening we wanted to watch and when we returned to the hotel after an evening out with friends it was still in the same non-working state. It was very poor indeed

Lovely big room with loads of space: the sleigh bed was huge and very comfortable and there was plenty of natural light. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly without being fussy or intrusive. Location was good- easy walk to town & close to a nice park.

As it is on a busy main road we were woken by the traffic quite early on Friday morning- though Saturday morning was considerably quieter.

The hotel was very clean, The heating was just right in the hotel as it was bitter outdoors.. The staff were polite and very helpful. Food was good. Overall it was excellent value for money

Very nice hotel

The rooms were really clean and comfortable (like a home away from home), the location was really central and the staff were superb! The best place I´ve stayed at on my trip so far.

Conv.enient for station and shops. Delightful green park opposite for walking. A secure carpark

Room over the kitchen - 7am wakeup with start of generator. Bed was not made after 1st night Bath/shampoo dispenser situated next to shower and too high for use in bath and I bathe not shower. Shower screenwas awkwardly placed between the hand basin and the bath. Toilet cistern noisy and slow for refilling.

Staff were excellent and extremely accommodating.

Paper thin walls. Kept awake for 3 hours by a couple arguing. Despite complaints to staff nothing appeared to be done. Apart from this otherwise the staff were excellent.

Our stay was fantastic. It was exactly what we needed, great location in close proximity to what we wanted to do - very convenient adjacent to railway. Very friendly helpful atmosphere.

Curtain hem hanging down; only liquid soap in bathroom; bed not made one night; tea etc not topped up until asked Also I was surprised that they took payment 7 days prior to our stay which is not on their website or on your own confirmation of the booking When I have booked through you before I always paid on checking out I shall now hesitate in future before using your services if you cannot give all necessary information
